Solstice
Back from the dead.
Okay, first off, if you know which band made that song up there in the title, free cookie.
Second, READ.
Over time, Almia had become a place inhabited by trainers and rangers alike, although the league hasn't set up a chalenge there.
Recently, and years after the Incredible Machine's reign of terror, scientists have recently discover undamaged Gigaremos and Miniremos in a secret carvern somewhere around Peril Cliffs.
They proceeded to remove the Dark Shards to prevent the catastrophe that once took place from happening again.
Needless to say, the Gigaremos and Miniremos were exploited so the scientists could find a better, less sinister use for these machines.
They had failed.
But little did they know, they were being watched by an even more sinister group that had uses for the machines.
The next day, when the scientists had returned to the lab, the Dark Shards, Gigaremos, and Miniremos were missing.
------
The sinister group had exploited the devices themselves, finding more uses for it then those puny scientists ever would.
Soon enough, they found that if powered by an unknown mineral, the machines could be used to transform humans into Pokemon. The Gigaremos would be used to transform an entire area at a time, while the Miniremos could be reprogrammed to let the user choose which Pokemon they wanted the target to be, while the Gigaremo would transform them into the Pokemon they were repulsed the most by.
Needless to say, they lost quite a few members.
They had found that sometimes, the human may or may not lose their memory of their previous form after transformation.
The sinister group made an anti-transformation suit, which prevented them from being affected by the Gigaremos' effects.
------
As of now, the Ranger Union is currently trying to do the same, and they had lost quite a few rangers, too.
