    Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Theme: New Banner!

Medium: Pixel Art/Graphic Art

15 weeks of the TCoD WSC have come to pass! Beginning with this week, every fifteenth week will be a new banner theme, to reflect the changes TCoD and the WSC have had over time.
Some guidelines:
  • The banner must be no wider than 800 pixels.
  • The banner must have at least five sprites in it, but it may have more. Large pixel-overs/pixel art will also count.
  • The catch? If it is not an official sprite, it must have been done by you! In this case, however, if you wish to use a pixel over or pixel art you have done, it does not have to have been made exclusively for this, and can have been made previously. Just so long as you did it.
  • Since this banner will be big and pretty, you may use Photoshop, textures and filters to decorate it.
  • Official (read: Sugimori) art may also be used.
  • Please divide the banner into two (or three) images that can be fit together in a forum post; one image to link to the Rules, and another to link to the Hall of Fame. For example, our current banner looks to be a single image, but is in fact three.
  • The banner must read, somewhere: "The Cave of Dragonflies Weekly Spriting Contest" (or "Challenge"- acronym is the same either way), "Rules", and "Hall of Fame".
Since this week started a bit late, you have until next Monday, November 2, to complete your entries.
