Murderer of Words
Things have settled down for a bit in the TF2 universe. Everyone on the Red Team has gone for a well deserved vacation in the Gravel Pit. Not the ideal vacationing spot, but it’ll have to do. With no expected combat dealings, everyone has changed into their civilian clothing (the Soldier simply refers to them as ‘off duty garments’). Unfortunately, the Blu Team has discovered their little relaxation spot (not hard to do, considering they fight there all the time) and have decided to pay them a little ‘visit’. Without their so helpfully color coded uniforms, everyone looks generally the same to everyone else (despite weight, hight, voice, and facial hair differences) allowing for the Blu Team to enter completely unnoticed. As this is a vacation, war-faring is frowned upon (but the Blus obviously don’t care and as for lynching, well, nobody said anything about large mobs ganging up on one person).
Will the Reds uncover their dastardly foes, or will this be the end of Redmond’s fighting days?
Will the Reds uncover their dastardly foes, or will this be the end of Redmond’s fighting days?
Roles:
Blus (will appear as Blu if lynched or killed, unless otherwise stated)-
Blu Soldier: Is heading up the Gravel Pit infiltration. Leads the Team and decides who’s going to be picked off at night.
Blu Scouts: Ordinary Blu team members who are excellent at dishing out enemy kills. There are 2 of them.
Blu Demoman: Can rig one players sleeping quarters with Sticky Bombs. If that player has a night role, and they attempt to carry it out, they’ll be blown to pieces before they’ve even walked ten paces. If they have no role, the Demoman will get bored and drunk and blow up the bombs anyway, alerting that person to his presence. That person cannot be targeted by the Demoman again. Can only be used twice.
Blu Spy: Before the day phase starts, the Blu Spy can choose to be notified of any and all the previous night’s deaths. He can then disguise himself as that role and the deceased’s role will not be revealed in the morning. If the Spy dies or is lynched while guised, the role he will be revealed as the role he was guised as (eg. If he was disguised as a Medic, in the morning/after lynching you would get the message, “Username died/was lynched, he was Red’s Medic!”) If nobody died during the night the Spy will be revealed and publicly announced, and will most likely be lynched the next day. His ability can only be used once.
If the Blu Soldier dies, a random member will be made leader, while keeping his original abilities.
Reds (will appear as Red if lynched or killed, unless otherwise stated)-
Red Sniper: Can stay up at night and use his rifle’s scope to watch someone. Reveals to him their Team status. If he investigates a disguised Spy, the Spy will appear as the disguised role.
Red Engineer: Can build a sentry to protect himself during the night. Unfortunately, the lack of colored uniforms has thoroughly confused the sentries, and they will shoot ANYONE (even Teammates) who visits the Engineer that night. The sentry will be demolished the next morning, in the spirit of keeping this a friendly vacation. Can only be used once.
Red Medic: At night, can choose one person to heal. If that person were to die for any reason that night, he would be saved and live into the next day phase. There are two of these.
Red Pyro: If he so chooses, can kill one person each night. On death, their alignment will be revealed, even if it is a disguised spy. Can kill both Blus and Reds so must be careful. (P.S. Pyro is still in a fire proof suit, just not colored. And you thought you could figure out his/her/it’s gender.)
Red Heavy: Can eat a Sandvich to survive being killed at night. Sandvich will still be eaten even if not attacked. Can only be used twice.
Red Scouts: Regular Red Teamies. There are five of these.
15 people need to start. Many roles differ from Butterfree’s default list, but are based on roles from another, slightly more complicated version of Mafia.
