• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open The Government

Abserath sighed. "I'm so sorry, but being nice isn't in my programming." she said mockingly. "If I do suddenly become nice, I'll be sure to inform you of my change of heart." As the Persian arrived, she simply smirked at him. "Yes, government robots. Do you see any other robots that people might want to flee from?"

"You have a point there." Ed grinned.
'Well, since they are running from the Government robots, I say that makes them Rebels. I think.' He thought.

Wilphra sighed, growing slightly agitated with all of this conversation.

"Excuse me, but perhaps we should save this talk about Gyaradoses, kindness, and robots for after we get somewhere safe and secluded? Who's to say there aren't even more robots out there?"

She wasn't upset with the others for wanting to talk, or what they were talking about for that matter, but did they really have to do it here and now, in the open, right after being attacked? An irritable mood came over her as she thought of how vulnerable they all were, standing here chatting and unaware of the danger that could be sneaking up on them at any moment. Perhaps she was overreacting, but all the same...

Rage swished her tail in annoyance, but said nothing else. She didn't believe she looked anything like a Seviper. What was wrong with Sevipers, anyway?

Shousia had not gone far. He looked at Abserath and Rage. "Abserath, Gyarados look almost nothing like a Seviper. And logically, here's a question for you: what's wrong with Seviper?"

((If you're wondering, I made Shousia use logic. I didn't copy Gardevoir's post.))

"Gyrados are long, have no limbs, fangs, and are ugly. Seviper are long, have no limbs, fangs, and are ugly. Hating Seviper is in our nature. Happy?"

Shousia was silent. He had a retort and then said it. "'Ugly' is a matter of opinion," he pointed out. "Someone who likes Gyarados could think Jigglypuff are ugly. See the logic?"

Rage was about to leap fly at Claw for saying that she was ugly. First, she bunched herself up, looking like she was cowering. She wanted to catch Claw off-guard.

((Wow, we really need more people on the government side. Darn anarchists. :P))

Robots were ordered to scour the area Watchdog 2.27e previously spotted and fought the rebels in. Logic dictated that the rebels would be on the move, but there were no other leads to go off of unless the mainframe sent a clue of it's own.

Rage was about to spring, but returned to normal position, smiling. "Now since our problem is solved, let's move on."

"Yes; I believe that would be the most reasonable option..." grunted Wilphra, even more irritated that her last comment had been completely ignored. What were they thinking?! She, for one, didn't care who thought what about her appearance. Especially not when there were more important things at stake... Such as their safety.

(Abserath didn't say that... Ah well, doesn't matter now. :P)

Abserath wasn't quite in the mood to stalk boldly around, looking for a new hiding place. So the Eevee flattened her fur and dashed for the best cover around: bushes. With the undergrowth shielding her movements, she followed Shousia, smirking the whole time. "You know you should do a bit more to hide yourselves." she whispered to the rest, amused.

Shousia looked back and heard Abserath say something about hiding. "We're not hiding now. We're moving on. But I guess hiding would be fine." He would have smirked if he had a mouth, but he didn't. So he just phased out without it.

Rage followed Sunny also, staying a bit behind Shousia. Right now, she had an exceptionally short temper, even shorter than normal, so she didn't want to catch too much attention.

Ed followed behind them. He had decided, that if he was going to get revenge on the damned Government, he might as well stick with people who had a plan.

Almost fueled by her impatience, Wilphra rocketted off after the others, feeling pleased to finally be heading for somewhere safer. Her fur brushed against foliage, giving her a sense of enclosed security. Silently, though, she was hoping their little conversation wouldn't continue when they got to where they were going...
