This is Victoria Island, the 'mainland'. There are four major cities here, and a large port, Lith Harbour. In each of the towns live a skilled tradesperson who will train others in their job. In Kerning City to the west, the Dark Lord tutors beginners to become Thieves. In Perion, to the north, is Dances with Balrog, who tutors Warriors. In Ellinia to the east you can become a Magician, and in Henesys you can become an Archer. ((Link to Pirate class, because I don't know anything about them))
And you've all heard of the Crimson Balrogs mobbing the flying ships that travel from Ellinia to Orbis or Ludibrum, of course. These ships usually carry strong passengers, and they can take care of the monsters easily. Crimson Balrog attacks are rather common, and have become almost routine.
So, that's a brief history of Victoria Island, but there's so much more. The surrounding islands, Orbis, Leafre and Ludibrum. The secret areas, 'Someone Else's House', Pig Beach, and more. And you better be reading this, don't use Cash Shop items in your sign up, the second button. You'll understand.
Some people on Victoria Island have been sent a quest, that doesn't seem to exist. Was it a mistake? A prank? With the quest, a guild symbol was sent with the scroll. As soon as these people touch the symbols, it's an unreversible action that leads on a quest, ultimately ending up who knows where.
