• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

The Legend of Zelda

Yup.

If anyone wants to find it, walk down from Death Mountain until you reach the Howling Stone. Standing in front of it, facing away from Death Mountain, you should see a hole in the wall ahead of you with vines hanging down. (You may need to pan around.) Select the Clawshot and fire it at the ivy, latching on, and climb up into the cavern. There will be a ChuChu bouncing around. Select an empty bottle, kill it, and bottle the Jelly before it disappears. It will be Rare Chu Jelly and do exactly the same as Fairy Tears. :3

Well I did see a gold one there.

I know it was gold because it was yellow and sparkled.

Shiny chu chu!

Yep. Gold is fairy tear equivalent. Yellow is... lantern oil. Seriously, I don't want to know where Coro gets all his oil from. >> Does he go on Chu killing sprees?

Maybe he lives near a source of oil.
How does he extract oil clean enough for lanterns?
A wizard did it.

Maybe it's actual oil. Because when you kill a Yellow ChuChu and bottle its jelly it's called Yellow Chu Jelly, and when you buy lantern oil it's called... er... Lantern Oil ;3

*cough* I know the names because

1. Cave of ordeals is mentioned by the great fairy
2. Nintendo power has a guide for the Cave of Ordeals. Not like I follow those instructions, I'm too good at it.
3. Savage labyrinth is on an inscribed stone.

And yeah, those are the ones where you have to clear fifty floors of foes. Oh, and the shiny chus are called Rare Chus. It's called Rare Chu jelly.

Oh, and purple Chu jelly can sometimes reduce your hearts to, like, an inch from death. Sometimes, on a whim, I use that to reduce Link's health and ride around Hyrule feild without getting a scratch. Loads of fun, especially when you fail and get killed. I'm too obsessed with torturing him, lol.

How can you have a guide?
'Kill this enemy, then this one, then this one. Then go thought the door' xD

Lemme go get that edition, if I can find it. It tells you what Items to use on which ones. Like you clawshot all the Chus on such and such floor, or you bomb arrow the darknuts to keep them separate if you distract all of them at once.

*goes and gets it*

Got meh guide. If anyone wants tips or blah(which I doubt), feel free to ask.

Also, WHY IS IT that everyone says the back slice is hard? It's easy, just tilt control stick to the right, press A twice, then press B. Then you can follow up with the ending blow. Easy as pie.

The back slice took me forever to master first time T^T I'm an idiot.

It's extremely easy though. Just do a side jump twice. I've never heard of anyone finding that hard before. O_o

I got it right the first time, if I remember correctly. the problem is, I've played through TP so much that I can't remember whether I first sucked at it.

Also, I've discovered what happens in Twilight Princess if you maul a Cuckoo. That's just awesome.

Link really has a way with animals.

They really shouldn't have gotten rid of the thing that makes killer chickens appear. :(

You should control them longer, 10 secondsish isn't enough.
