TO LONDON I GO!

Kai Lucifer

A traveller on the winds of time
Yes, I'm going to London on tuesday to visit the Tate Britain and the Tate Modern as part of my art GCSE. As far as I know, we'll be leaving at 7:30 in the morning, which is a good time for me, since I like it when it's barely light. When in London, we'll go down the river Thames by boat and look around the galleries and shiz. That's about as much as I know. I'm really excited about it all, since the Tate are aparrently some of the best galleries in the world. Of course, It's probably not true, but what the heck I can't wait!

Unfortunately, I won't be going to see Wicked, as it is a school trip. Ah well.

WOW! Sounds great. Sounds like you're really looking forward to it as well. Enjoy yourself! Do you live far from London? I live there.

I live in Wiltshire, which is about a 2 hour train ride from London. I think I've only ever been there a few times in my life.

Its good. You won't be disappointed. If you pick a good day that is. And get reeady for crowded streets GALORE. Other than that its a nice place.

Don't worry, I'm expecting tons of people in London. My last trip was only around 6 months ago, when I went to see Avenue Q, and there were tons of people then.

yeah, BTW its pretty but DO NOT GO TO THE 02 ARENA! its stupid how many people they fit in, everywhere.

Aww, I'm going tomorrow, but I'm coming home on Sunday (not that you'd be allowed to come hang with me on a school trip, but still).

HAVE A GOOD TIME.

If only you'd put "I'm going to London" as a thread title... I could've posted "to buy a Heat magazine?" but all crossed out like.

Have a good time :D

TO THE KAIMOBILE

DoodledoodleDOODLEdoodledoooo!

Here's hoping it's good. I've never been to London, myself, so I can't give you any sagely advice on stuff like the others.

I've never been to London, or Europe for that matter, althogh I'm going this summer, there and to a bunch of different places. I hope you have lots of fun there, because I'm sure looking forward to it.

Got back at 2-ish this morning (I should get to bed) and God, it was fun. :D

I could never, ever live in London, but it's one of my absolute most favourite places to visit; Les Miserables, while not as good as Wicked/Ave Q, is freaking amazing and I highly reccommend it.

Let me know how the galleries go; I've been to London a few times (now I live in Kent, I can just hop on the train and go for day trips there), but the only touristy stuff I've done is see a handful of shows, go on the Eye and visit the National Aquarium. The museums and art galleries sound really great, though; how much is your trip?
