Born to Be a Winner.
While the first intro holds the the most nostalgia and the feeling of the series best in my opinion, I like the song Born to Be a Winner better.

Something I kind of noticed seeing the new intros occasionally on tv is that the tone seems to have changed from "I wanna be the very best" to "try your hardest, you can do it"
 
I like the first Japanese theme. It kicks ass, with a catchy melody, pleasant voicework, crisp instrumentals, and a cohesive listening experience that is without peer or superior in the world of Pokemon anime theme songs.
