• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Closed X: The step into other worlds

"Fine, fine..." Kirita groaned. She was still a bright scarlet, and hadn't been quite this embarrassed since when it had actually happened. Flopping down in a nearby chair, she groaned and tried to hide her face.
"Not working~!" an amused Zora sang from behind her.
"AAAARGH."

"Ah well, you'll get over it. Eventually." Raiquen muttered to Kirita, giving a mysterious smirk and turning away.
"Eh, the time is...my watch stopped. Never mind." Rhythm sighed.

"The one thing she doesn't carry in this bag is a clock... how stupid..." Cyndra groaned, digging through the bag.
"It's around 6." Spirit sighed as she glanced at the window.
"Mmm... maybe I will, but it was still fucking embarrassing..." Kirita moaned.

"Use it on someone worthwhile of course..." Cyndra grinned, sparing an underhanded glance at Rhythm. Hopefully he wouldn't notice.
"6 PM..." Spirit muttered. Meanwhile Zora had spotted Cyndra glancing at Rhythm as she said what she did and smiled, but did not say a word.

"How about we get the girl-obsessed one?" Sephii whispered, "Kirita, maybe we could get that Wakko person too."

Raiquen jumped when Rhythm shifted suddenly. Rai turned his head towards him, and saw that he had drifted off into sleep. Sighing, he tried to engage in conversation with Raith, but Raith didn't respond.

"Is he carrying a cantine, do you know...?" Cyndra whispered, eyeing her potential next victim with interest.
"You aren't seriously thinking..." Darkness groaned.
"Yes, I am."

"Oh, I get it..." Raiquen muttered. He sneaked over, and after looking around Rhythm's belt for a bit, clipped off a half full cantine.
"Eheh. Found one."

Cyndra grabbed it and grinned as she searched though the bag and pulled out a bottle. Pouring the water out in a nearby plant, she uncapped the bottle and poured in the liquid until it was at the level the water had been at.
"This'll get him for sure..." she whispered, clipping the cantine back onto his belt and quickly putting the bottle away.

Deax and Sephii snickered.

Jax walked out, baby in arms, a chunk of hair missing, and a blissful smile on her face.

Windfall followed her out, but Spirit could sense her unease. She glanced around, spotting first Cyndra, who was clipping a cantine onto a sleeping Rhythm's belt.
"Oh no..." she whispered.
"Oh yes..." Cyndra replied after she had gotten a distance away that would make her look unsuspicious.

Raiquen glanced at the baby. He wasn't very good with younger kids.
"Cute." He said. Raith nodded in agreement, watching as Rhythm blinked his eyes open.

"Windfall she's adorable~!" Zora sang, staring at the young child. Windfall nodded uncertainly.
"Y-yeah, OK..."
"No really, she is!" Spirit exclaimed.
"No, I know."
Cyndra glanced at Rhythm again. He was awake. This would be good.
