• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Closed X: The step into other worlds

Aidan sighed, leaning back in his chair.
"How typical." He said, then whispered something to Melody that only she could hear. Melody whispered something back, and they both stretched in their chairs.
"Sure. Right. I get it." Aidan muttered.
"You better." Melody growled.

Darkness cast a single glance at Aidan, and a bubble of curiosity formed in her mind. But she ignored it and sat back in her chair. Cyndra turned back to Hera, who glared at her expectantly. Kirita and Starlight were holding a wonderfully bizzare conversation about forks. Spirit continued to watch Zora and Rhythm, for lack of anything better to do.

"You're leaving?" Darkness asked sadly, just now turning her focus from the spider that was crawling up the wall (she had squished it a few seconds before).
"Knowing him, it's damn well possible. And if he does, oh well." Spirit muttered.
"But I don't WANT him to gooooo..."

"We've stayed with you for quite too long." Aidan said, eyes closed. "Oh, here Sephii." He tossed her a full water bottle.
"We'll most likely be back." Melody said, "We always have been. Why are you so upset now?"

"You're right..." Darkness sighed, "Aye, I shouldn't be like this... You always do come back, and I guess I'll just have to wait for when you do... You promise you will?"
"She's acting a bit un-Darkness-ish right now..." Spirit muttered to herself, "She'll get over it and be fine until he comes back, then she'll be overjoyed like always... My God how long are those two gonna sit there like that staring at each other?"

"I promise you. I will be back." Aidan muttered, "Besides, I won't be gone too long. I'm getting used to traveling with you."
"I'm not." Melody said.
"Well, that's because you can't remember what I had taught you."

"Glad to hear that, Aidan. And let's face it. If you learned once, you can learn again, and I'd be very glad to teach you." Darkness said with a smile.
Cyndra took the bottle and stared at it. Her reasonable side was telling her to just open it and give it back to Sephii, but her unreasonable side had different plans. Guess which one she listened to.
"I'll be right back..." she muttered, dashing into the bathroom with the bottle. Once inside she unscrewed the cap, and pulled out of Windfall's purse a bottle of the exact same kind.
"Glad you can't see through it... Sephii, I hope you enjoy my 'special' punch..." she snickered, putting the water into the bag and walking out with the replacement bottle in hand.
"Here you are."

Raiquen watched Cyndra walk into the bathroom with wonder. What was she going to do now? When she came out, he spared a glance at the bottle.
She did something to it...Ah well, not my problem... He thought, stretching out on his chair.
"I want to leave now." Melody said.
"Oh, but why?" Aidan asked.
"I just do, alright? Let's go."
"Fine..."

Sephii started to drink it. She started giggling. She stood up and stumbled over to Kirita. She started to....er...grab Kirita's....boobs.

With which, Kirita replied with a swift, HARD smack to Sephii's head.
"You do that again and you'll actually have reason to be in this hospital..." she ripped Sephii's hands off of her, um... chest, and dashed to the other end of the room.
Cyndra snickered.
"Oh my god..."
Zora, who'd been silent all this time and was still in an embrace, looked up and Cyndra with a blissful smile.
"What did you do...?"
"Um, nothing...Ehehehe..."
Darkness only barely registered any of this. Figureing she'd punish Cyndra later, she stepped up to Aidan.
"I guess... I'll see you later then?"

Aidan blinked, watching Sephii for a bit before turning to Darkness.
"I'll miss you while I'm gone..." He murmured, hugging her tightly before turning with a swish of his hair towards the door. Melody followed without a word. Raiquen watched them go, when all of a sudden a tap on his shoulder made him jump.
"I must ask you something out of earshot of the others. Can we discuss this outside?" Raith said.
"As long as you don't scare me like that again." Raiquen muttered.

"I'll miss you too..." Darkness sighed, turning around after he had left. She felt sort of empty now, but she knew he'd be back. She paid no mind to where Raith and Raiquen were going, and sat down in her chair and sighed.
Cyndra quit snickering and broke down into full on laughter.
"Toilet water?!"

Yakko stared at her for a moment, before yelling a word of gibberish and hiding behind Cyndra.
"She's scary..." Rhythm looked up from the embrace, and blinked.
"The hell is wrong with her?"
------
As Raiquen walked out, Raith turned around and faced him directly.
"I think it would be best if I accompanied you on your journey."
"Uh...I'm not so sure about that..." Raiquen muttered.
"You don't agree with me?"
"No, no, I do. I don't think Sephii and Kirita would like that idea though..."
