Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Closed X: The step into other worlds

For the first time since they had left, Zora looked up at him. Her eyes were still bloodshot from crying.
"Yes... I'm sorry I hurt you by hugging you like that... I didn't know... I don't want to hurt the one I love, ever... I don't think a thousand apologies would make up for that..."
Spirit watched with interest.
I knew that would work. Looks like she's still hung up on accidentally causing him to cry out in pain back there...
Cyndra leaned toward Hera, who was shaking Kirita awake.
"Poor girl." she whispered, "looks so sad..."
"Yeah she does." Hera replied, "But it was probably an accident."

"It was an accident...Don't dwell on the past...I forgive you." Rhythm whispered, taking Zora's hand in his own and stroking it. "I see you've been crying...And when I show my injuries, I want you to not blame yourself. Can you promise me that?"

"I... think I can promise you that... Just... thank you..." Zora sobbed. No tears would come out of her eyes, but it still sounded as if she were crying.
"I just hope I can heal said injuries..." Spirit muttered quietly, cracking her knuckles as if she were preparing for something.

"You're welcome...And thank you..." Rhythm whispered, kissing her cheek then standing up.
"Alright. Brace yourselves." He said, folding his wings in and taking off his upper clothing. Melody screamed when she saw his back. There were large, scattered cuts all across his back. Some of them were bleeding freely now because of the irritation that was cause by the removal of his clothing. Others had sealed up and some were quite deep.
"I was whipped. 'Like the animal you are', they said."

Darkness leapt back, and Cyndra gasped. Hera bit her lip, and Kirita stared rather seriously. Zora nodded solemnly.
"How could I blame myself... for something like that...?"
"I see, I see..." Spirit whispered, pulling on a pair of rubber gloves from a box of fresh ones hanging on the wall next to her. Once she did, she walked up to him and flicked her wrist. Doing so caused an emerald green glow to appear around her hand, and she ran a finger along one of the shallower cuts.
"I'm sorry if this hurts, but if it works it'll be over soon."

Rhythm inhaled sharply when Spirit touched the wound. He was obviously in pain.
"Dang Rhythm, that's brutal." Raiquen muttered, bandaging his own wound.
"We have to take down whoever did this." Aidan growled.

"I agree... They must be taken down somehow..." Zora muttered, "But I'm not in a fighting mood at the moment, as you can see..."
"He's going to be fine." Darkness sighed, "I mean, Spirit's a pretty capable healer."
"True..." Zora looked askance at Spirit. She was going over every wound he had sustained with her glowing hand, and Starlight was standing behind her as backup.
"Girl you have got to pull yourself together a bit better."
"Looking at that, then my own desire to hold him close, take his pain away, and knowing that I can't, it just..."

"Are you nearly done...?" Rhythm asked, eyes closed tightly. "It's starting to become unbearable..."
"Just calm down, and focus out the pain..." Aidan muttered.
"I know you're trying to help, but frankly, it isn't helping at all."

"Nearly. It appears to have stopped bleeding and the smaller ones are healing up nicely. But if you insist, Starlight, help me out. Numb him temporarily." Spirit ordered, removing her glowing hand for a second. Starlight stepped up, and in the same manner as Spirit, flicked her wrist thereby activating a glow of sorts. Except Starlight's was silvery. She ran said hand down the middle of his back.
"That should numb it for a bit so Spirit can heal you without it hurting."

Rhythm shivered, with a mutter of "Cold". However, he soon let out a relieved sigh.
"Thank you..." His eyes couldn't resist the temptation to glance at Zora, even if it was only for a split second. If there weren't any other difficulties, he would run over as soon as this was done and hug Zora as tight as he could.

"You're welcome. Spirit, take it away." Starlight backed up, allowing Spirit to step up again. She took her glowing hand and continued to run it over the wounds for the few minutes the numbness would last.
Meanwhile, Cyndra watched the whole ordeal. However, she didn't notice Hera staring at her expectantly from behind until she turned around to ask something to Kirita.
"What're you staring at?"
"Pay up."
"I don't have the moneeeeyyyy..."
"I don't care. Pay up."
"Darkness, can I borrow-"
"NO."
"Will you all stop arguing about money...?" a sullen Zora asked. She glanced at Rhythm as Spirit was healing him and sighed sadly.
"...Fine..." Hera growled.
Spirit removed her hand from Rhythm's back after a few minutes.
"This should do it." she muttered, "We're just about done here. You're healed."

"Thank you..." Rhythm said, taking in a deep breath. Aidan was watching him throughout every second of this, but the moment he blinked, Rhythm had zoomed over to Zora and nearly tackled her in a hug. Rhythm didn't care if Zora hugged him back, he just needed some comfort, any comfort.

Zora had just looked up again, only to be nearly knocked out of the chair from Rhythm's hug. But the fact that he did brought a smile to the sullen girl's face, and she returned his snug embrace.
"Thank you..."
Darkness had to smile at the scene. After all, she had been so depressed on the way back and until now that she figured Zora deserved this. Plus it was just plain adorable.

"Everything we didn't want to happen happened." Aidan muttered, watching Rhythm and Zora.
"Looks like they're happy to be together." Melody said. Looking at the scene gave her a warm feeling.

Darkness nodded in agreement. Her sister was smiling again, and that was what was important.
"It's truly a beautiful thing, isn't it?"
Spirit watched the scene from a distance. Although still a bit surprised that he had dashed away so quickly, she noted that they looked happy.

"Uh. Did you guys black out or something?" Aidan asked, waving his hands around, "We are in the hospital."
"Jax and Windfall are probably crooning over their baby in the room." Raiquen said, inclining his head.

"More than likely." Darkness muttered. Her eyes were still locked onto the scene, but she'd caught every word, "Wouldn't put it past them."
"Me either." Cyndra sighed.
