• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Closed X: The step into other worlds

"You... don't?" Kirita asked curiously, "Why not?"
"I have to admit, it's a tad strange..." Zora muttered.
"I'm not giving you the vial. Now go AWAY." Cyndra snapped angrily.

Jax glared in a way that seemed almost familar. She sat down.

Okay, there was no point in possessing me. You're right here.

I know...

So...how's your relationship been going?

It was wonderful....oooh...he was all still and let me do it...

Okay....you can be quiet now.

"I just...cannot remember." Raith muttered. He looked at the ground, then threw his hair back and stared at the others.
"I am quite content with this, however."

"Well it's gotta be convinient, y'know?" Zora reasoned, "I mean, if you levitate you never have to worry about reaching things on high-up shelves."
"She has a point..." Kirita mumbled.
Spirit stared.
"So that's why you're never on the ground..."

For once, Raith actually smiled. It only lasted for about a minute though, as he turned away towards a nurse. He asked her something that was inaudible to the others, and they both walked into a side room. Raiquen watched with curiosity as Raith came out a few minutes later. His hair now looked quite silky and smooth, but had a flicker of seriousness still left.

"He asked for hair-care?" Kirita asked.
"Looks like it." Zora replied, "Looks pretty good though."
"True."
"Darkness stop staring out the window. He said he'd be back, get over it." Zora glared at her sister, who had not said a single word in quite a while.
"Aye, sorry."

"It'll take much longer for him to return, I can assure you that much." Raith muttered.
"How can you tell?" Raiquen asked.
"Considering what they've told me, I think I'm allowed to estimate."

"I know, I know..." Darkness muttered, taking one more glance out the window and sighing before turning around.
"Come on. Cheer up." Zora sighed.
"Really Darkness. This is depressing." Kirita agreed.
"Alright, alright..."

Raith twirled a cell phone in his hand.
"If you're really desperate for him to come back, I'll call him. But that's if you're truly and sincerely missing him."
"Where the hell'd you get a cell phone?" Raiquen asked.
"I've had one."

"I'll let you know if I get there." Darkness sighed, "I suppose I'll get over it."
"That's the Darkness I know." Zora patted her shoulder.
"Yes." Kirita mumbled, eying the cell phone in Raith's hand.

"I don't look at others' eyes. It allows me to feel left out..." Raith muttered, clipping his cell phone to his belt. He let his halberd float out of his hands and twirl around him.
"Eh? What?" Raiquen asked, momentarily disoriented.

"Nope." Kirita said simply.
"Me either."
"Not me."
"Or me."
"Not over here."
"Nuh-uh."
"I didn't see anything."
"What're we talking about...?"

"He's asleep again, isn't he?" Zora asked without even taking a glance. Kirita did that for her.
"Yup, he's out."
"Meh, I thought so. Leave him be and he'll probably be in a better mood when he wakes up. He always is..."

"Right. Let's find somewhere to stay now that Jax's out." Raiquen muttered.
"Raiquen, may I remind you that we're in a forest?" Raith said.
"Good point. But there was that place where we found Rhythm..."
"Eh...There might be somewhere around here we could stay."

"I know of a place. It so happens I have a friend who lives out here, and her cabin is big enough for all of us to stay in." Zora suggested.
"You have friends everywhere, don't you?" Spirit asked amusedly.
"Probably."
"Well I say we go." Kirita mumbled.
