• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Closed X: The step into other worlds

"I rushed over here. I'm surprised I did it in the amount of time it took." Aidan muttered, getting some water from a bottle and washing a slight amount of blood off of his arm.
"Don't mind it. Also, Raith, I think I may have gotten some info on where Y is."
Raith's head perked up suddenly.
"Tell me in private later."

Darkness looked up at him at that, but didn't say a word. This was his business, and she wouldn't interfere (yet). That was Zora's job, and even then she only did it on certain occasions.
"Oh, that reminds me Acacia. I need to discuss something with you later. It concerns you-know-who having shown her face again." Zora muttered. Acacia gasped.
"You don't mean-" she was cut off.
"Yes, I do."

"For now, all I can say is that she was the one who controlled the operations behind capturing and torturing Rhythm." Aidan explained.
"If you don't object Aidan, I'd like to speak to you about it immediately..." Raith muttered.
"Alright." With that, they both walked into an empty room and shut the door.

Zora's head snapped up.
"So they found the location. Oh I'm gonna have fuuun exacting revenge..."
"Zora, calm down. There's no guarantee you'll get to go this time." Darkness mumbled.
"He's my lover. They tortured him."
"Still. Just calm down. We don't want you getting all riled up yet if anyone IS going to go. Just try not to think about it for now."
"Alright, alright..." With that, Zora slid back into the chair and massaged her temples, trying to focus on other things.

"From what he's told me, I don't believe he'll allow any of us to go." Melody muttered.
"But why? He knows that Zora wants revenge." Raiquen said.
"I don't know. Personally I think he's worried."

Zora turned and growled at Sephii.
"Don't ever call me that."
She then turned to the rest.
"Oh I'm going alright, even if I have to sneak along with them."
"Zora! What did I just get through telling you?!"
"Sorry..."

"I don't think even they're going to go." Melody said.
"Then why would they be discussing it?"
"Most likely because-" she cut off as the door opened and Raith and Aidan stepped out.
"Do not speak of this around earshot of them." Melody whispered furiously.

"No, I know what he meant. I get it." Zora quickly whispered back.
"Because lemons are sour of course!" Darkness exclaimed, in an attempt at changing the subject.
"...Lemons?" Spirit asked confusedly, glancing at her now-empty glass.

"Lemons? Strange subject." Raith muttered.
"I'm gonna get some sleep before..." Aidan said, but he turned around and walked towards a room before he could finish. Raiquen watched, but his stare was interrupted by another intake of breath by Rhythm.
"I'll get him to his room." Raith muttered, slinging Rhythm over his shoulder and floating to his room.

"Hm." Zora growled. She knew that as long as the question remained as to whether the two were going to find this person or not, she would have to be woken up somehow if they were. And Starlight was known for her insomnia spells. And that was how she figured she'd manage.
"Wait a minute..." Darkness muttered, interrupting Zora's train of thought, "Where's Cyndra?"
At that moment, Starlight poked her head out of a room.
"She's in here sleeping."

"I think I'm gonna head in too..." Raiquen said, standing up and stretching.
"Eh, might as well." Melody muttered, following Raiquen looking for their separate rooms.

"Right. I'm headed in too." Darkness muttered, headed off toward the rooms.
"Me too. Good night everyone." Hera sighed. She too walked off toward her room.
"I'm gone too. See you all in the morning..." Kirita groaned, standing up, stretching and striding toward the room she'd be staying in. Spirit followed her, which only left Zora and Starlight in the room. Windfall had wandered outside and appeared to just be sitting there, and Acacia had also gone to bed.
"Well. I should go too. You don't feel tired, right?" Zora whispered to Starlight.
"Not at all."
"Great. You hide yourself, hide yourself well, and you come wake me up if Aidan and Raith decide to leave and go find this person. I'm going to follow whether they want me to or not."
"OK. Sounds good."
"Yup. G'night." With that, Zora wandered off toward the room she would be in, and Starlight went invisible and hid behind a wall.

Raiquen desperately tried to drift off to sleep, but with all the day's actions spinning around in his head he just couldn't. So he simply stared up at the ceiling, bored, until he heard sounds from the other rooms. Loud sounds, at that. Not wanting to investigate, he listened to the sounds for a bit, trying to distinguish what they were.

Kirita struggled to get to sleep, and she WAS very tired, but with the sounds coming from other rooms (she didn't even want to think about the source), it was hard. She pulled a pillow over her head and shut her eyes tight to try and drown it out.
-----------------
Zora growled. Of course there would be noises on a night where she desperately needed to get as much sleep as she could.
"Wonder who's getting screwed..." she snarled as she sat up and went toward the door.
"Will whoever's doing that shut the fuck up?!" she shouuted down the hall.
