Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Closed X: The step into other worlds

As soon as Zora shouted, the noise immediately stopped. Raiquen blinked. So it wasn't the creaking of the house.
"Probably Raith and them sneaking out..." He muttered absentmindedly, snuggling into his blankets and trying to fall asleep.

As soon as the noise had stopped, Zora pulled her head back into the room.
"They're probably going... But Starlight hasn't reported... So they know I'm going to try. So I know what I have to do." with that, she set out the door to the room and took a seat where she had before. Just waiting.
--------------
Windfall was still outside, staring at the sky.
"The wishing star..." she whispered, "I have a wish... I'm not ready for parenthood, so I wish she'd grow up, think she's my sister..."

Raith glanced out of the room, then pulled himself back in.
"Just as I expected. She's outside waiting." He reported. Aidan sighed.
"Well, then I suppose we're taking her with us."
"I hoped it wouldn't have had to come to this..."
"It's only her. No one else. Be cheerful for once." With that, Aidan and Raith came out of the room simultaneously.

"Mmhmm, I knew you would. Let's go. I don't care what you say, I am going with. Starlight there," she pointed at the girl who had peered around the corner, "is gonna make sure no one else does. And that means NO ONE."

Raith sighed, then floated towards the door.
"Enough talk, let's GO." Aidan groaned, then put his hand over his mouth. That was a little too loud for Raiquen, and he sat up in bed.
"Who's out there?" He asked. Aidan was sure he was going to wake everyone else up, and he ran through the door to the cold air of the night.

Zora dashed after, making sure to grab Windfall's purse, which was sitting by the door. She'd probably need it. After all, she didn't know what in there she would need.
"Alright, where are we going?" she whispered, glancing around. Windfall had wandered around to the other side of the house. Good.

"Where Y is, of course." Raith muttered, floating through the forest peacefully.
"It's not that far from here. Probably because they're aiming to get Rhythm." Aidan said, following.

"Right. I knew that." Zora muttered, keeping up a brisk pace after them. While she was doing so, however, she reached into the purse.
"Good, it's in there..."

Aidan stared at the purse. He was about to question her, but decided not to. He probably didn't want to know anyways. Taking his eyes off of the purse, he nearly crashed into Raith as he stopped.
"What's wrong?"
"I don't trust this place. Are you certain that it's close by?" Raith asked.
"Quite certain."
"If you insist." and Raith took off again in the same direction.

"You probably don't trust it BECAUSE the place is close by..." Zora muttered, "I know I don't..." her mind wandered to the gun kept in the purse. She didn't want to have to use it, she didn't even know if it would work. But she'd use it if she was desperate.

"Right about here, Aidan?" Raith asked, stopping.
"Yeah. Let's open it up." Aidan said, bending down. He withdrew his sword and started poking around, until he found something and stopped.
"Aha." Quickly, he reached both hands inside and ripped open the air. It was like the landscape was a page, and Aidan had tore a huge hole in it. Inside the hole was nothing but black.
"Shall we?" Raith asked, and he floated in. Aidan followed, gesturing Zora to follow.

"Man that's trippy..." Zora muttered to herself, following them in. It was very dark inside, and she was nervous. But she had to do this. It was her revenge and she wasn't going back on it. At least, she hoped not.

"Raith, if you will." Aidan muttered. Unseen, Raith nodded, and a loud clang was heard. Immediately, the lights turned on and revealed that they were inside a laboratory of some sorts. There were bodies piled up in cages, weird creatures in liquid, and durable metal surrounding the entire room.
"Let's go. Y must be in the master room." Aidan muttered, walking towards the only doorway there was besides the rift. Raith followed, halberd at the ready.

Zora very nearly gagged at the sight of the bodies.
"My God... What is this woman, a sicko?!" she whispered furiously, hand on the hilt of the blade on her belt. She did not say another word after this however, and continued to follow silently.

"Be relieved that one of those bodies isn't your lover." Raith muttered, gliding down a long hallway. The door at the end could only be opened with a key, but Raith inserted the point of his halberd and picked the lock.
"Smart." Aidan muttered, watching this process.

"Good point. I suppose it'd be worse for me if it were..." Zora growled, eying him as he picked the lock open. Her mind kept racing from the inevitable fight, to when they had gone to rescue Rhythm, to the firearm in the purse she was carrying. Lather rinse repeat and it was driving her nuts.

The door swung open, and Raith glided in, followed closely by Aidan. This room was easily the biggest of all, but it was generally empty except for one big monument in the middle. It looked like a giant pillar, with a royal chair attacked to the bottom. In the chair, sitting lazily, was a teenage girl with messy brown hair, with pink highlights. She wore a long sleeved plain black shirt, and bright red jeans.
"Finally, something interesting comes along." She said, sitting up.
"You're outnumbered. You can't possibly win, Yvette." Raith growled, using her full first name. She looked shocked for a split second, but regained her sneering attitude not long after.
"Oh? Let's make it fair, shall we?" She grinned, and snapped her fingers. Seemingly out of nowhere, Opal and Rayne appeared at either side of her chair.
"Let the fun begin."

One would expect Zora, at a time like this, to begin recklessly attacking at the sight of Opal standing there. But no! She didn't. Instead, her lips curled into a twisted, almost evil smile.
"Aidan, take the purple-haired one, I believe her name is Rayne. Raith, you get the one in the chair. I got the last one. Aidan would know why..." she glanced at them, before pulling her sword out of its sheath.
"...Bring it."

Aidan, who still had his sword out from opening the rift, charged at Rayne. Raith simply glided towards Yvette, halberd spinning rapidly around him. Opal, meanwhile, sneered at Zora.
"I told you there would be consequences with loving him..."
