• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Closed X: The step into other worlds

"Well, excuse me. How am I supposed to know whether or not there's romance going on here?" Falar asked.
"Oh great, here we go." Marshall muttered.
"Shh. Where's Rhythm?"
"I think he went to sleep." Raith said.
"Better not wake him up then." Falar said, "So how have you guys been doing?"
Rhythm shifted around a bit, then stopped when he was comfortable and closed his eyes. Yet, again he could not find the peace of sleep, even when he was as tired as this. Sighing, he laid there and waited.

"We've been fine." Darkness replied.
Kirita glanced over the chair at him.
"And who are you again?"
"That, Kirita, would be Falar." Cyndra replied.
"You can't fall asleep, can you...?" Zora asked tiredly. She was able to tell by his sigh, and she couldn't help but feel for him.

"That's good." Falar said, getting dust off of his silver hair.
"Blech."
"Why'd you come down the chimney anyways? You aren't Santa." Marshall asked.
"Long story that I don't want to tell."
"Oh! Sorry if I'm keeping you up, dear." Rhythm said, opening his eyes.

"I'm not sure I want to ask at this rate." Cyndra muttered.
"Me either." Kirita mumbled.
"I'm a bit curious, but I'll ask later." Darkness said.
Spirit had been tuning everything out since having been pounced at by Marshall, and she looked up to see Falar sitting there.
"...He came down the chimney, didn't he?"
"No, you're fine, darling..." Zora assured him, "Was still awake as it was and I heard you sigh..."

"Maaaaaybe." Falar muttered, smiling and stretching.
"I landed on a log. That hurt."
"Hah. Sucks for you." Marshall snickered.
"Normally I'd slap you for that, but today I'll let it pass."
Rhythm looked at her, and flashed a slight smile before looking up at the ceiling again.
"So. Let's try to get to sleep again unless you have any other ideas."

Spirit tugged on the sleeve of a Starlight who had dozed off.
"Hmwah...?" Starlight groaned as her vision cleared and she saw the silver-haired boy on the floor over there.
"Oh... Hello there."
Zora stared at him a moment.
"Mmm, let's just try and sleep..." and she closed her eyes again.

"Hello there." Falar muttered, getting up and seating himself into a chair.
"Man, you look tired." Marshall said, staring at him.
"Mmm, long trip over here. I feel like I could fall asleep in this chair."
"Alright, g'night." Rhythm said, shifting slightly and closing his eyes also.

"Lord knows I would." Spirit mumbled, "What with how you look."
"And how." Darkness agreed.
"Thirded, I guess." Starlight muttered.
"It's still morning..." Zora sighed, "But I suppose no one... cares..." with that, she wrapped her arm around him and drifted off into sleep.

"Mmm. I'm gonna go check out that room" Falar said, standing up, "Don't be surprised if you don't see me for a while."
"We won't be." Raith said, watching him walk down the hallway.

"Believe me, we'll understand." Spirit muttered.
"Poor guy seemed exhausted." Starlight sighed.
"I still don't know who he is." Kirita mumbled.

"He's me and Rhythm's other brother." Marshall said, "He's the crazy one out of all of us."
"Sure didn't seem crazy to me." Raith muttered.
"That's because he was probably so tired."
Just then, Raiquen wandered out of his room, with hair gone crazy.
"Good morning, all..."

"Sup." Spirit muttered.
"Mornin'." Darkness sighed.
"Hello." Starlight mumbled.
Kirita glanced at Raiquen and giggled.
"Good morning. Nice hair you've got there." she pointed at it.

"Nnnyea..." Raiquen muttered, shaking his hair violently. When he stopped, it was much more poofier and curlier.
"What the hell." Aidan muttered. Rai responded with an indiscernible reply.

Kirita continued to laugh entertainedly. She didn't mean to make it seem like she was laughing at him, but his hair looked funny.
"I don't think that helped." Spirit chuckled.
"It really didn't." Darkness giggled.

"Mmyesitdiiid..." Raiquen muttered tiredly, swaying.
"Uh, alright then." Aidan muttered, trying not to laugh at his hair. Marshall and Raith had already caved in.

Kirita was next to cave, falling on the floor and cackling hard. Spirit continued to chuckle to herself.
"No- I'm not even going to argue."
"Somebody get some caffeine in this poor boy." Starlight sighed, "Just look at him."

"Good God go get a cup of coffee or something. I can barely understand a word you're saying." Starlight muttered, staring at Kirita, who was still on the ground laughing.
"He-he-he has no idea how goofy he looks..."
"It's true..." Darkness chuckled.
