Closed X: The step into other worlds

Jax pounced on Windfall.

-----

Deax backed away and someonehow imprisoned them in a cage. While she pulled a computer out of thin air.

Rhythm dove straight into the bars of the cage, and fell back holding his face. A very slight amount of blood flowed from his nose and forehead, but nevertheless he growled and tried to open the cage. Raiquen couldn't help but snicker at the misfortune.

Zora, having stopped herself before hitting the side of the cage, realized the situation she was in and whimpered.
"...I'm in a cage..."
The rest of them simply continued to howl with laughter. Except Windfall, who was still confused out of her mind.

Rhythm quit trying to fight through the bars, then had an idea and looked around his pants.
"Damn it... my sword's with that dog thing..." He muttered, glancing at Yakko, who was now swinging the sword madly.

"I kinda like you shirtless..." Zora muttered sheepishly before realizing what she was doing and quickly averting the subject.
"Ahahaha nevermind that I got an idea too." she couldn't help but remember Yakko's reaction to the costume she was in, and she turned to the dog-thing and motioned for him to come over to the cage.
"Come on. Come over here."

Yakko glanced up from his sword swinging at Zora's voice, then dove at her still swinging the sword, yelling his trademark. He then proceeded to slam into the bars, and cut through them with one limp slash as he fell to the ground.
"Zora, you're a genius." Rhythm muttered, stepping out and diving for Deax again.

"I'm a genius?" Zora asked naively, "Why thank you." with that she proceeded to dive at Deax and remove her foot from Rhythm's path.
"Um." I'm still a bit confused-" Windfall was cut off by the sound of footsteps down the hall.
"Oh sissy, dressing up in ridiculous costumes again?" Fairwind asked. Windfall blinked.
Oh... That's right... She thinks she's my sister who died in that accident last year... That's who I named her after, after all... She even looks like her...

Rhythm stared in horror.
"Deax..." He growled, looking ready to lunge and rip out her throat. Then, his aggressive manner receded.
"Alright, fine. You just lost the location of Desaul." He muttered. Then he saw Fairwind, grabbed his sword from the ground and held it threateningly.
"Who the hell is that?"

Zora glowered at Deax. She, being a bit more sensitive about the outfit she was in, probably would've ripped her throat out if not for Rhythm noticing Fairwind at that moment.
Windfall looked up at the sound of the mysterious voice. It looked like she was about to cry. Then she saw Rhythm and jumped in between them.
"Rhythm, don't. This is... this is Fairwind. My sister. Yes, I am aware that I named a child that just yesterday, but..." and she broke down and started sobbing.

Rhythm blinked. Windfall was getting quite emotional over this, so he simply dropped his sword and stared at Fairwind.
"I'm not sure if I'm going crazy or not..."
"You aren't alone." Raiquen muttered.

"Windfall!" Zora cried, rushing over to hug her, "Why are you crying?"
"B-because... You know my sister died in that accident last year..." Windfall sobbed.
"Yes, I remember... Then how is she...?"
"I don't know... I'm not even sure if it really is her and not just a clever trick played by the wishing star... But she's... just so much like her..."
"Windfall." Fairwind started, "I know. I know all of what happened. I remember everything. I can safely assure you, I really AM your sister. Please stop crying."
"I'm so sorry... I should've gone with you... Then maybe it would've been me instead..."
"It's OK now..." she went up and hugged her also, "I'm here."

(I'm leaning towards LoZ.)

Rhythm simply took a seat and watched. Frankly, he believed that he had never heard of the accident, or that Windfall even HAD a sister. This was a touching reunion though, so he didn't want to interrupt anything.

((Me too plz. But not right now.))

"I just can't believe you're alive..." Windfall sobbed.
"Shh... Shh... Stop crying now..." Fairwind whispered.
Zora kept silent, as did the rest of them, for the moment. Of course, only Zora and Darkness really knew about the accident, as they had kept it under wraps as not to stir anything up. Until they'd been told they didn't even know she had a sister, but after the incident they decided not to bother telling anyone. But now everyone knew.
"It's touching..." Zora whispered to herself, finally breaking her silence.

Rhythm stared at the little group, then jumped as Raiquen sat next to him.
"At least she has a sister she can actually talk about..." He whispered, out of earshot of the others. Rhythm didn't respond, staying to his oath of silence until this reunion was over.

"Aye, I'm done..." Windfall muttered, wiping her eyes.
"That's better. That's the Windfall I remember." Fairwind grinned widely.
"Alright then, are we all reacquainted then?" Zora asked almost impatiently.
"Definitely."
"Yes..."
