• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Closed X: The step into other worlds

"Gone...? He's not...?" Kirita scrambled up and also peered over the edge.
He vanished... No spattered blood on the pavement, no corpse, no falling Rai... Where did he go?
Hm. This certainly is wierd. I have no idea where he went.
Well, he's obviously not here anymore...

"Let's get down from here. It's boring." Yakko said, pulling out a rope ladder from his pocket. When he tied it up and threw it down, it reached the bottom with slight slack. He began to climb down.

Kiurita picked up her knife again, this time noticing that it had gotten longer.
"Hm..." she muttered, retracting the blade and shoving it into her pocket.
I hope he's alright...
He will be. He's alive, I'm sure of it.
With that, she went over to the rope and climbed down cautiously.

Sephii catiously crawled down the ladder.

"C'mon, speed it up!" Dot whined.

Sephii grunted and made it the rest of the way down

"First floor, roach food, bad smells, torture devices." Yakko said, as he reached the bottom. He glanced around.
"And still no sign of your friend. Ah well, he'll turn up eventually."

"He better turn up." Sephii mumbled.

Hey, Zora, if I can talk to you...can Spirit pick up Raiquen's...er...aura?Sephii asked.

What the... Sephii? How the hell can I hear you...? The voice of Zora asked rather skeptically.
Kirita bent over backwards to see the pendant hanging out of her back pocket, the chain of which was sitting on top of Sephii's hand.
She's touching it...
Ah. That would explain it. Well I can definitely try to have her read his aura. Not sure if she can though.
Typically...
Kirita. Don't be so depressed.

"She DOES have a reason. Raiquen disappeared." Sephii retorted, 'We met up with three...strange...er...people."

"I can heaaaar youuu." Dot said.

Yakko felt like smacking Sephii, but then he realized she was right. So instead, he stared at a moving black dot on the ground. Wait.
"MOVING BLACK DOT ALERT! EVACUATE!"

Wait, I almost lost her. Sephii, you have to be thinking it clearly AND saying it if you're gonna do it that way. the voice of our favorite redhead sighed, Though I admit, you HAVE a point. Now I'ma get Spirit on the line. Hang on.
Kirita glanced around as she waited, giving a skeptical stare to Yakko. Why was he yelling about a moving black dot? Now focusing on that, she nearly jumped when a different voice entered her mind.
Spirit here. Whatcha need?
Rai's gone missing... Again... He fell off a tower, and instead of hitting the ground he disappeared...
And you need me to find out if he's still there, right?
Yes...
Aaaalrighty then...
At that moment, unbeknown to Kirita, the pendant started glowing for a second.
He's still alive. And if my senses are correct, he's somewhere nearby.

Sephii started searching around the base of the tower.

We've been having all kinds of trouble. Sephii said, touching the pendant.

Moving black dot...? Spirit's voice asked, And it got bigger when he stepped on it... I think I MIIIIGHT just know what happened.
What do you mean? Kirita asked skeptically.
Go over there and examine it, Kirita. I think it might somehow be connected to Raiquen's disappearance, or it might even BE him.
Kirita blinked for a moment, then got up, yanking the pendant away from Sephii, and crouched down next to the black dot.
"Hm..."

The black dot moved around crazily, before going under Yakko for a moment. Then, a black hole opened up from the dot, and Yakko fell in. His exasperated yell echoed through until a big clunk was heard.
"This is one deep hole!" Yakko yelled.

Bingo.
What do you-
Just ask him what he sees down there.
With that, Kirita walked cautiously to the hole, careful not to fall in.
"What do you see down there?"

"Besides that green haired girl falling down? Absolutely nothing. It's nearly pitch black." Yakko responded. Just then, a red light emanated from the hole.
"Whoops. Never mind. I see a signpost. It goes THAT WAY."

"Looks like I'm coming down too then." Kirita muttered, immediately jumping in. She landed squarely on her feet, collapsing to her knees soon after because of the distance of the fall.
