Closed X: The step into other worlds

"You look exhausted." Kirita commented. "I thought you woke up on your own. Did I wake you or something?"
Skye laughed quietly to herself, then put her hand to her chin thoughtfully.
"Actually, that wouldn't be such a bad idea..."
Zora blinked, then smiled at him.
"Yeah, a lot to do with it sounds about right..."
Jesse blinked at her. He had to admit, he was a bit confused. Was she getting this close to him... willingly? He wasn't complaining either way, but...
"I've been... alright." Might as well answer honestly. And try not to screw up.
 
Raiquen blinked at Kirita, then looked at the ground in thought.
"Well, I know I woke up on my own...but I remember waking up and falling asleep again multiple times, so that might be it."
Melody's gaze traveled back to Skye.
"Hm? You're thinking of doing it?"
"I knew it. Your eyes gave it away." Rhythm smiled and moved closer to Zora so he could wrap one arm around her.
Opal giggled girlishly, which wasn't like her. Even she was surprised at her action.
"You're a cute guy, you know...Really cute."
 
"Yeah, sounds like that's it. I slept pretty soundly, so I feel fine, but if you were waking up on and off..." Kirita sighed.
"Yeah." Skye yawned. "I'm thinking Raven's outside just enjoying the cold. I can wake up Anseyu and just... look out the window and see. It'd certainly be amusing."
"They give away a lot of things, don't they?" Zora laughed. "Oh well, not like I'm complaining." she also wrapped an arm around him. Now, she looked comfortable.
Again, Jesse...blinked. He looked calm on the outside, but in his mind he was just... yeah. He smiled at her. Just play it cool. Don't do anything stupid and ruin this.
"Thanks..."
 
"Hey, at least you got sleep...that makes me feel better." Raiquen said, stretching and yawning in his chair.
Melody giggled as she thought of Aidan's reaction.
"It's your call, Skye."
Rhythm leaned in and kissed Zora on the cheek, pulling her closer with the one arm he had wrapped around her.
"You really are beautiful, you know..."
Opal giggled again, moving her body close enough for physical contact between them, She put one of her arms around his waist and smiled.
"You're quite welcome...You know...I might be able to forgive what you did to me at that dinner..."
 
"Awww, thanks." Kirita smiled. "Hey, wait. Where's..." she finally spotted Summer and her brother, both asleep in their chairs. "Musta been a long trip for them."
"...Let's do it." Skye grinned, standing up. "You just hang tight. I'll go track them down." With that, she started down the hallway, her eye catching a scene in one of the first rooms...best not to disturb them.
Zora rested her head on his shoulder, a light blush still coating her cheeks.
"Haha, thanks..."
"You... you mean that?" Jesse stared at the ground, sighing. "I... I really wanted to make that up to you... I really am sorry for that."
 
"Wouldn't doubt it. They looked tired as soon as they walked in." Raiquen commented.
Melody nodded, rubbing her hands together. Aidan, who had conveniently been oblivious to this conversation, broke out of his trance when Skye stood up. Having no clue what she was talking about, however, he turned his attention back to the window.
"No problem..." Rhythm sighed, hugging her tighter than before.
Opal looked at Jesse's face solemnly. She could tell that he really was sorry. She began to think of a way to cheer him up. Then it hit her.
"Jesse, you can make it up to me by doing one thing..."
 
"They did, they did." Kirita agreed. "I suppose they deserve it."
It wasn't even a minute before Skye found the other dragon girl asleep in a room, one arm hanging over the bedside and dragging onto the floor.
"Time to get to work..." she snuck up toward her, and started to poke her like she did to Melody earlier. Every time she did she'd get shocked, but she didn't mind too much. Until Anseyu's hand hit her in the head.
"Go awaaay..."
Zora promptly yawned, then sighed happily.
"So comfortable..."
Jesse blinked, then looked up at her again.
"And... what might that be?"
 
"Yeah, they do..." Raiquen yawned. "More than me at least." Carefully, he leaned forward once again and hung his head tiredly.
Melody leaned back in her chair and settled in as if she wasn't thinking about what was going to happen. Aidan couldn't help but suspect something, but he did not say a word.
Rhythm raised the hand that was holding Zora up to her haird and began to stroke it softly.
"It is comfortable..."
Opal paused for a moment to think about what she was going to do. She took a deep breath, then smiled her mischievous smile at him.
"How well can you kiss, Jesse?"
 
"Oh don't be that way." Kirita smiled at him.
"Come on. I know how much you love embarassing people..." Skye grinned as her sister perked up.
"What's that you say...?" Anseyu asked, a smile crossing her features.
"You heard me. Now do you know where Raven went?"
"She's sitting outside." she pointed toward the window, and Skye jerked it open to spot the other dragon girl smiling and humming to herself.
"Come on, Raven, we got someone to humiliate!" she stepped backward as the other flew inside and shut the window.
"Oh, I like where this is going. Let's roll." and with that, the three girls walked out again.
Zora yawned again, stretching around a bit.
"Sooo..."
Jesse again blinked, then a calm yet joyous smile appeared on his face.
"Well I suppose there's no better time to find out." and that's when he leaned in, and he kissed her.
 
Raiquen looked over at Kirita with his hair dangling in front of his face. Her smile was soon emulated on his face.
"You're right...Sorry." He yawned.
Aidan glanced at the hallway as soon as the three girls walked out. He jumped when he registered their appearance. Melody giggled when this occurred.
Rhythm adjusted his seating, then sighed.
"I don't know..."
Opal kissed him back, but only for a moment. She broke away, then stood up and held out her hand.
"Stand up." She said calmly.
 
"It's alright." Kirita reached over and moved the hair from his face.
Raven and Anseyu both blinked at Aidan, then looked at Skye. When Skye just grinned, they both walked over and took seats next to him while Skye returned to her seat next to Melody.
"Hello."
"How are ya?"
Zora was about to reply to that, when she caught sight of the scene that Skye had set up.
"...Oho, now what is this?"
"Yes, miss..." he stood up, still rather amazed at what had just happened. "And... thank you."
 
Raiquen smiled, leaned over, and kissed her on the cheek.
"Heh...You know, when I first met you, I never would have expected this to happen..."
Aidan looked at both of them nervously before responding.
"I...um...f-fine, thanks..." Melody could not help but begin laughing at this scene.
Rhythm also glanced over at the scene, and smiled.
"Aidan looks pretty nervous over there..."
Opal smiled mischievously yet again.
"Don't thank me, you aren't out of it yet." She said deviantly, and pushed Jesse against the nearest wall before kissing him passionately.
 
"I didn't either." Kirita laughed. "Sure did turn out worth it, huh?"
"Oh, that's nice." Raven laughed, while Anseyu began playing with his hair.
"Mission accomplished." Skye whispered to Melody.
It was at that moment that Darkness walked out of the kitchen, a donut hanging out of her mouth while her hands carried a drink for herself and another platter of cookies. She spotted the scene and wanted to either yell at them or... burst out laughing at her boyfriend's dilemma, but she wanted the donut more.
"Yes, yes he does." Zora smirked, looking back and forth between her sister and this situation. "And it is hilarious."
Jesse felt him being pushed against the wall and saw her smile, then when he realized what was going on, grinned for a split second before kissing her back. Yeah, he could live with this.
 
"Definitely." Raiquen agreed, stretching in his chair. "I would give up everything T could just to be with you."
Aidan stared at Anseyu as she played with his hair.
"Uh...I'm a bit s-sensitive about my hair..." He muttered, noticing Darkness and looking at her helplessly. Meanwhile, Melody smiled at Skye.
"Good job."
Rhythm laughed quietly to himself.
"Yes, indeed it is..."
Opal continued to kiss him as she asked herself why she was doing this. She really didn't know. Finally, she broke the kiss and stared at Jesse, still smiling.
 
((Weird, it was showing that I posted /before/... wonder why it stopped.))

"Well that certainly is sweet of you." Kirita smiled. "I'd say the same...if I had anything to give up." she chuckled.
Darkness just barely managed to set her drink down on a table and took the donut out of her mouth.
"Seems like you've got a bit of a problem there. They don't bite, really. And guys? Lay off his hair."
"Thanks." Skye gave her a thumbs-up.
"Yup. He's so scared..." the redhead still watched this, an amused look on her face.
Jesse was still against the wall, but he didn't mind. He didn't know whether to say something or keep quiet. Man, she sure had a pretty smile... The one on his face mirrored hers.
 
Jax walked back into the room with Rhythm and Zora in it.

"Had a nice chat with Jesse. He's a nice guy once you get to know him." she said, "Opal came in though...dunno why."
 
Raiquen chuckled also.
"The only thing I'd ever want from you is your love."
Aidan ran his fingers through his hair nervously.
"Uh...thanks Darky..." He muttered.
Melody returned the thumbs-up, still giggling.
"Haha, poor Aidan..." Rhythm muttered, laying back and still watching the scene.
Opal, still smiling, kissed him on the cheek affectionately.
"Well, I can safely say that you're a great kisser..."
 
"Don't think I have much else to offer anyway." Kirita chuckled. "But that... really is sweet of you."
Darkness snickered at Aidan. What a cute pet name.
"Well there's not much I can do, really. Come on, won't you get away from him?"
Raven pouted.
"But Skye said he was scared of us!"
"...Is that true?"
Skye giggled and muttered something that sounded a little like "yes it is".
"I wouldn't doubt it if Darkness only laughed at him." Zora smirked. "Wonder how he's gonna get out of this."
"Well thank you, miss." Jesse was positively beaming. He couldn't believe that had just happened, and yet he knew it had. Because if he'd been dreaming, there would've been pianos stealing his underwear and the like. And he liked the fact that he was not dreaming.
 
Raiquen stared at Kirita for a bit, then smiled and said nothing more.
Aidan sighed, thinking of a way to get out of this.
"I'm not scared of you...Just intimidated..." He said nervously. Melody, meanwhile, started to giggle again.
"I don't know..." Rhythm said, with an amused grin across his face. "It seems pretty hard to get out of..."
Opal returned his beaming smile. She couldn't believe that she had just done that, but it didn't matter that much to her. She moved back in order to let him off of the wall. All of a sudden, a wave of nervousness crashed over her, and she blushed.
"Umm..."
 
Kirita sighed happily, then leaned back in the chair to watch the scene with Aidan play out.
"Intimidated means scared, doesn't it?" Anseyu tilted her head at the other two. Raven smiled and nodded.
"Close to it at least. What do you think, should we leave him alone?"
"You'd better..." Darkness growled, half trying to sound intimidating, half trying to hold back laughing. The effect... didn't really work too well.
"Yes, yes it does." Zora chuckled. "Naw, they'll back off soon enough. I know them."
Jesse coughed nervously. He'd gotten this far, and now he didn't know what to do. The smile was still on his face as he tried to think of what to say next.
"Well, um..."
