Closed X: The step into other worlds

Raiquen stared at Kirita, the smile never leaving. The blush on his face brightened as much as it could as he replied.
"I love you too..." as he said this, he leaned in and kissed her.
Melody also turned her attention to the couple, yawning once more but concealing it well.
"I...have absolutely no clue how to play a piano." Rhythm muttered, "Maybe someone else does..."
 
So he felt it too. To Kirita, this was turning out to be a really great day. From finding Summer again, to Rai saying he loved her too... she let all this happiness flow into her returning the kiss.
A small squee escaped Skye's lips as she watched and she looked around blushing. Hopefully they wouldn't notice that.
"Not my instrument of choice." Zora couldn't help but wonder why she needed these things, but this was Jax. She wasn't gonna question it.
 
Jax smiled.

"So, who wants to play a game?" she laughed, going down to the basement of Acacia's place, "This place will work out."

Jax looked around.

"Does she have a karaoke machine?" Jax asked, "We could always do that instead of what I have planned...."

(Run....run away! xDDDD)
 
Raiquen let the kiss carry on for a minute longer, then he broke it. He looked down at Kirita, and smiled blissfully.
"I've been waiting a long time to tell you that..."
Melody looked over at Skye as she squeed, but she simply smiled and said nothing, turning her attention back to the couple.
Rhythm blinked. The thought of Jax on a karaoke machine gave him the urge to jump off the couch and run as fast as he could, but he restrained the urge and simply stared at the ground without an answer.
 
"You... you have...?" Kirita whispered. It didn't really come as a shock to her so much, but she felt it appropriate to ask at the time. The smile she wore matched his.
"Oh god damn..." Skye still blushed furiously. It wasn't like her to do that, but did anyone else here know that?
Zora groaned. There was no freaking way she was going to be dragged into a basement to listen to Jax sing. It made her want to run away really fast. She spotted the look on Rhythm's face and figured he was thinking the same thing.
"I, um... think I'll pass."
 
"Yes, I have..." Raiquen whispered back, tightening his embrace. When he noticed Kirita's smile, his smile grew wider.
Melody very quietly laughed at Skye's action.
"Calm down...I don't think anyone else heard you..."
Rhythm sighed, looked at Jax as she made the offer, and shook his head.
"I'm good...Too lazy to get up."
 
Kirita lay her head on his chest, sighing contently.
"Hearing you say that... it means a lot to me..."
"Well good." Skye groaned, watching Amethyst rise from her seat.
"I might as well go with." she stretched a little.
"Yeah... too lazy." Zora mumbled as she stretched out again. "That's what I meant to say."
 
"Darn! I forgot the karaoke stuff!" Jax remembered, "Sorry guys. I'll call someone to bring it over for tomorrow for the reception. Excuse me...now to find someone to talk to.

She knocked on a door.

(You guys choose who she talks to....)
 
"Fine by me." Amethyst mumbled, shrugging.
Skye still looked around one more time to make sure no one had heard her, but settled into her seat once she was sure and grunted.
Meanwhile, inside the room of the door Jax had knocked on, Jesse sat on his bed, pondering.
"I gotta make it up to her somehow. She's so beautiful, I gotta find something to make her forgive me..." he sighed. "But it's gotta be something big. Something huge." he heard the knock on the door. Not feeling much like getting up, he settled for calling out.
"Who is it?"
 
Raiquen raised one hand and slowly stroked Kirita's hair as she laid her head on his chest.
"I'm so lucky to have you..."
Melody glanced at Skye when she looked, but did nothing. As she raised her arms and stretched, Aidan walked out looking quite rested. He nearly spoke, but then noticed Kirita and Raiquen and decided to sit in the nearest empty chair instead.
Rhythm glanced at Zora as she gave her excuse, and flashed a slight smile, but then proceeded to watch the couple once more.
 
"I know what you mean..." Kirita whispered, a tear forming in her eyes, "I'd probably consider myself the luckiest girl in the world right now..."
Skye blinked up at Aidan and waved at him, a small smile on her face. She didn't wanna speak or anything, but figured she might as well say hi somehow.
Zora chuckled as Jax ran off to bother someone down the hall. She'd amuse herself and be out of their hair, and damn would it be nice. But for now, she just watched the couple, with a smile on her face.
 
Raiquen looked down at that moment, and noticed one stray tear falling down Kirita's face. He raised his hand and slowly wiped it away, then returned to his tight embrace.
Aidan gave a small wave, smiling back, then threw his head back and sighed.
As Rhythm watched the couple, an annoying strand of hair kept falling in his face, irritating him. He brushed it away multiple times, but then finally just gave up and leaned back in his chair.
 
Kirita looked up and smiled at him, then nuzzled him lightly. Yeah, today was turning out OK.
Skye yawned at that moment, showing canine teeth much sharper than a human's should be.
"Bored now..."
Zora looked over at Rhythm, suppressing a small giggle. She managed to hide that, but she could not hide the amused smile.
Jesse blinked up at the door. "Huh. Wonder what she wants to talk to me for." he paused a moment before calling out. "Come on in."
 
Jax walked in.

"Sorry, I'm just a bit bored. It's turning into a lovefest out there." Jax said, "Kirita and Raiquen finally admitted it."
 
Raiquen smiled back, then continued to stroke her hair. He sighed happily. Today was a pretty good day.
Aidan blinked as he spotted the sharp teeth of Skye. He cleared his throat nervously.
"Ahem...Whoa."
Rhythm looked over at Zora as he heard movement. Once he saw the amused smile, he had an annoyed look on his face. As soon as he registered the smile on her face, however, his expression brightened.
 
If you listened closely, you could hear a small purr coming from Kirita. She had a warm, happy look on her face, and she too sighed.
Skye blinked at Aidan, then grinned.
"What? These?" she pointed at her mouth. "I'd expect you to be surprised. Not many people take well to something like that at first. Not like I'ma hurt anyone with 'em. They're just kinda... there."
Zora continued to just look at him with that amused smile on her face.
"You looked cute when you did that."
Jesse nodded.
"I see. Glad they did. About time..." he pondered a moment. "Listen. You think pretty... big, right? Well, I need your help."
 
"Help with what? Lemme guess....Opal." Jax laughed, "I have to admit...you guys would look pretty cute together. So, what do you want?"
 
Raiquen laughed quietly at the purr Kirita made, then looked up at the ceiling for a bit, zoning out.
Aidan was still blinking apprehensively at Skye's teeth.
"Um...and what exactly are they there for?"
Rhythm snickered, then flipped the same strand out of his face again.
"You think I look cute when I do anything."
