Closed X: The step into other worlds

"Well when you're really tired..." Zora muttered, sitting down in the seat next to him. "Sometimes it takes me half an hour to get out of bed in the morning just because I can't seem to make my legs move enough." She smiled. "He doesn't have to get up if he doesn't want to."
Just then, a knock at the door. Darkness looked over.
"Wonder who that is..." she walked over to the door and opened it, to see Frigo smiling at her.
"Hay, y'all!" He called out as he and the other two walked in.
"Who's that?" Darkness pointed at the younger girl.
"This here's m' little sister, Summer."
About then, Spirit walked out again and spotted Frigo and the oldest girl.
"My God... you're here!" she ran up and glomped Amethyst. "Big sister! Frigo!"

Kirita looked over at him.
"Oh... hi. Listen, I gotta thank you... I really feel better now."
 
Jax waved at the three while chowing down on several cookies.

"Hey, I don't have a lot of cookie dough, so cool it, will ya?" Deax snapped, "Eheheh....sorry, sis."
 
Rhythm blinked at the exchange between Jax and Deax, then snickered while waving at the three arrivals.
"Hey there. Nice to see you." He said, still resting on the couch. Raith, who had gone into the kitchen, drifted out with a glass of water and stared intently at the three.

Raiquen yawned once more, then smiled peacefully at her.
"No problem...I'll be there for you, anytime you need me."
 
"Hay Rhythm." Frigo laughed, "Congratulations t' both y'all."
"Thank you Frigo." Zora cheered, watching his sister walk solemnly to a chair and sit. "She alright?"
"She'll be fine. Poor child does this when she's 'round folks she don't know."
Amethyst squirmed in her sister's grip.
"Spirit... you don't know your own strength..."
"Sorry." she let go promptly. "Man, Star's gonna be so excited to see you."

"That's good to know." Kirita smiled back. "So, shall we head out then?"
 
"Yeah, we've had an interesting few days." Jax said, "Involving love potions and junk like that. I had a crush on someone so...."

She bgan to laugh.

"I realized how stupid it was of me." she giggled.
 
Rhythm snickered at Jax's comment, but said nothing about the subject, and simply finished his glass of water and yawned.
"Alright, let's try one more time..." He muttered, pushing himself off the couch. This time, he was able to balance himself and stand on his own.
"Finally." Raith muttered, floating back to his seat.

Raiquen, yawning, stood up swiftly and stretched.
"Yes, we shall." He muttered, followed by a swift sneeze.
 
"Huh." Darkness muttered as Frigo took a seat next to his sister. She watched him do so then looked up back at Rhythm. "It really did work."
"You feeling alright the- you know what? You're standing, at least. That's a good thing." Zora yawned.
At that moment, Starlight walked out from the hallway and spotted Amethyst. Next thing anyone knew, she was being glomped again.
"Ugh... Hi Starlight..."
"Guess what big sister guess what."
"What...? And can you let go of me...?"
"I finally got another boyfriend." she pointed at Raith when she let go, grinning ear to ear.

Kirita giggled.
"Bless you." she too stood up, and she grinned at him. This certainly was a noticeable change from how she was earlier.

Meanwhile, one of the three demon girls, who had been asleep, crept into another room. It was Skye to be exact, and she had gotten bored after waking up and laying there waiting for something to happen. She spotted a sleeping Melody on the bed and, her tail swishing with curiosity, she snuck up and began poking the girl in the shoulder. It was oddly amusing.
 
Rhythm raised his arms in victory, sighing. Putting them down, he looked at Zora and smiled.
"You, my dear, look tired. What with your yawning and all." He said.
Raith, who had zoned out, was suddenly jerked back into reality when he heard what Starlight had said. Rubbing the back of his neck nervously and blushing, he simply turned and looked out the window again, with a slight smile.

Raiquen smiled, and brushed the hair out of his face. Yawning once more, he walked over and opened the door.
"After you."
----------
Melody was slowly awakened by a persistent poking. Vision blurred, she moved with stunning swiftness off the bed and delivered a precise kick to Skye's head.
"That'll teach-oh. It's you." She muttered, relaxing her fighting stance.
 
"Mmm... maybe a little bit." Zora smiled, looking up at him. "I think I've been sitting too long and just haven't registered that I'm standing is what it is." She stretched a little.
"He's shy, isn't he?" Amethyst chuckled, "I can tell by how he's acting. He's cute."
"I know." Starlight cheered.
"You don't think he'll wind up like... do you?"
"Don't say such things!"

"Why thank you sir." Kirita bowed, smiling. She then walked through the door and waited for him.

Next thing Skye knew, she was on the ground and Melody was standing up.
"Ow... what the hell just happened?" she moaned, "How'd I get down he-" as she looked down, she spotted a small bit of ivory on the ground. She picked it up and examined it, then groaned as she reached up and felt over the new chip in her horn.
"Aw man... aw well. Nothing a little sandpaper can't fix."
 
"Mm, I understand." Rhythm said, cracking his neck and sighing.
"Ugh, I've been sitting down too long..."
Raith continued to stare intently out the window, but most of his attention was focused on the conversation about him. Although he knew he really shouldn't be listening and to just let it be, he couldn't help it.

Raiquen walked out, closing the door behind him. Smiling at Kirita, he began to walk out towards the main room awkwardly, as his leg was asleep.
"Ahh, this feels weird..."
----------
"I'm so sorry..." Melody muttered, coming over to Skye and offering her a hand up. "I thought you were Aidan...That would have been more justified."
 
"That makes two of us." Zora laughed. She flinched a bit. She could hear that crack.
"That sounded nasty, Rhythm. Didn't it hurt?" Darkness asked.
"OK, OK, I won't." Amethyst chuckled. "Although I do wonder why he doesn't come over here and introduce himself."
"He will in time, I'm sure."

"Leg asleep?" Kirita asked as she walked out alongside him. "Mine too..." She smiled awkwardly as they approached the main room. Then when she looked out at the rest... her heart skipped a beat as she spotted the confused-looking girl in the chair.
"S-Summer..."

Skye took her offer, taking her hand and using it to get up again.
"Man, sorry if I scared you. I woke up, I got bored, and I had to find something to do. There's a little too much commotion out there for me right now, from what I heard comin' in."
 
Rhythm shook his head.
"Unless you see my head bend unnaturally, I'm fine. I crack my neck all the time." He muttered. He backed up into an open area and stretched his wings out, groaning as he did so.
"Ahh, that felt good." He said, noticing Kirita and Raiquen as they walked out. Kirita had quite a surprised look on her face. When Kirita spoke, Raiquen blinked.
"Ehh? Summer? Who...?" He followed Kirita's line of eyesight, and then understood who she was talking about.

Melody stretched.
"No, no, it's fine. I'm really sorry for kicking you though. It's a natural action." She said awkwardly as she walked over and opened the door.
"Well, I don't know about you, but I'm thirsty as hell."
 
"Suit yourself." Darkness shrugged, looking over along with her sister at Kirita.
Summer heard a couple of very familiar voices, and looked up to see... someone she actually recognize.
"K-Kirita... Last place I expected to see y'all..." It looked almost like she had seen a ghost, but... not.
"Rai," Kirita looked over at him. "This is Summer... Oh, I missed you so much..." she looked over at Frigo. "Is that that older brother we found out about?"
Summer nodded as Frigo looked up.
"Hay, y'all. Summer talks a lot about'cha."

"Alright then." Skye blinked at her, then coughed. "Ugh, now that you mention it, I am pretty thirsty..."
 
Raiquen smiled pleasantly, waving a hand in greeting.
"Charmed to meet all of you." He said, walking over and taking an empty seat.
"You guys...know each other?" Rhythm muttered, obviously surprised at the reaction between Kirita, Sephii, and Summer.

"Exactly." Melody said, smiling and walking out towards the living room. She stopped when she saw Amethyst, and a sudden urge took over her. Melody jumped from her current place and glomped Amethyst.
 
Summer waved at Raiquen shyly, inciting a glare from Kirita.
"Hands off, he's mine."
Summer blinked at her.
"Y'all mean yer-"
"Yes." she looked at Rhythm. "Yes, we know each other. Summer and I quite well, actually."
Amethyst blinked at Melody when she walked out, but then next thing she knew, she was being glomped by the strange girl, much to the surprise of her and her sisters.
"Um... hi...?"
Spirit coughed.
"Well, this is awkward."
 
Raiquen blinked at Kirita, with a slight smile on his face.
"Calm down, Kiri. All she did was wave." He said, yawning again and stretching in the chair.
"I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that you just woke up." Rhythm smiled.
"You are oh so fabulously right."
Melody jumped off of Amethyst and smiled, embarrassed.
"Sorry...don't know what came over me..."
 
"Sorry, sorry..." Kirita laughed. "Wait... did you just call me... aw, never mind, it's cool. I think it's a cute name." It was clear that she was in an extremely good mood right now after finding Summer.
Amethyst blinked, than smiled.
"Aw, it's alright. We all get those urges."
Meanwhile, now Skye was just coming out of the the kitchen with a couple glasses of water. She stared at Melody.
"You said you were thirsty, so I got you something."
Zora appeared surprised at all the activity, but she smiled nonetheless.
"Well regardless, it is good to see you."
 
Raiquen yawned once more, then got up from his original sitting spot and slid over to behind Kirita. Slowly, he wrapped his arms around her and smiled.
"You sure are in a good mood, aren't you?"
Melody blinked, then smiled at Amethyst.
"Haha, yeah. Sorry." She grinned at Skye as she walked out with water, and raced over to her and grabbed one.
"Sankyuu."
 
Kirita jumped a little, then grinned as she realized who it was.
"Oh... yes, I really am." the grin became even wider as she saw Summer smile at them.
"Y'all really do look good t'gether."
"You're welcome." Skye yawned, stretching out her wings as she did so. "Guess I haven't really woken up yet." she brought the glass still in her hand up to her lips and took a drink. Refreshing.
Amethyst raised her hands.
"Really, it's cool."
