• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • Hey, Amph. Our ASB battle is up, reffed by Squorn. Just letting you know, in case you forgot.
I see you have "metamorphasized" into shiny form. Although personally I prefer regular form. (I find shiny form a tad to feminine.)

    EDIT: Friend me?
I come back from Marineland, and I get 4 visitor messages.

2 of them are about my homestuck avatar and title.

Also I'll try to post it tommorow!
I think you mean the [fn] number pad, which requires holding down the [fn] key or enabling [num lk]

Why did the ferry get cancelled?

Also, it seems like the two have already sent in their "commands". You're going to be over the DQ, but I guess your absence sheet post covers that.
In Vancouver yet? Although that's sort of a pointless question to ask.

And laptops get a little getting used to. But after that period, I feel that it's actually faster to type on a laptop than a computer with a detached keyboard. The "end" key is within reach, although the lack of a number pad ticks me off sometimes.
No prob. Although I don't really see the point of DQ's in Metronome battles. Have fun in Vancouver!
I hate having nothing to do. When I have nothing to do, I find things to do. I also hate having things to do. When I have things to do, I procrastinate so much, it's not funny.

    Aww, I feel so loved.

    I posted in our battle.
Sorry *Looks again* the ghost/water Alomomola...Must've gotten the name wrong...
...That's all the more reason to take summer school - because you're good at something and want to skip it for next year. And yes, I'm Asian, although I don't see why it would make me 9x10^3 times cooler, seeing as half of Richmond is Asian.

That wasn't an example. That was exactly what happened (OK, so I didn't take programming or chemistry, my name is not Eric, I was not born in America, it was not 2:38 am, and that knock-out part was just a passing statement, not directed to me but sort of an "in China" thing).
If your parents are like what you said, (this is exactly what happened), you can expect them to pressure you to go to Summer school. Protip: pick your fortes and stick with them. Don't randomly decide to take English unless you're actually good at it (you seem decent judging from your reffings, in that you can stretch 10 words into 100).

I think that they did it not out of spite for me in particular. You're right, but I guess my parents will spaz if I don't follow their instructions to always bring it with me, so.

Tell him anyways, just to make sure 1 is a deficient number. And I do believe you just passively dissed your dad there.

Well, I do have Silver vs Mewtini, but Mewtini hasn't posted in forever. Well, at least I have a placeholder for my referee 4-battle limit :D

You asked Negrek a question about the little III's in the mock reffing. They are probably health bars.
Summer school. When the teachers tell you that each course entails 3-4 hours of homework a day, and not to take 2 courses at the same time unless you're repeating one, believe them. I got lucky this year (Science: ~5 min/day. English: ~6 h/day).

And now I'm paranoid of someone stealing my next helmet. And paranoid of concussions (Eric Lindros, anyone?).

Never mind; I searched on the Internet and it seems that 1 is a deficient number.

I have met with people on the Internet before; my dad was with me (awkward...) and we had to cut it short for church (upon the insistence of my dad). But that was for a positive influence (NaNoWriMo). He told me that I'm spending too much time on here. That's why you don't see me doing ASB reffings anymore. Although I wouldn't have the time anyways, but whatever. :(

D: Someone stole my bike helmet today. I get to school, I lock my bike up with the helmet, I go to class; 2 hours later, it's gone. Crazy thing is, the bike's still there and the lock is unbroken. The only way they could have stolen the helmet is if they cut the strap, but that would make it useless unless they sew it back together. I've been using it for the past few years, and it's just about falling apart. There were more fancy helmets around that weren't stolen (mine cost $10; there were others that were probably $30-40). Why on Earth would anyone want mine?

And I'm a bad influence? D: I'm sure your dad would approve of meeting with me after you tell him this: I can provide an example of an odd perfect number. :D
