    It's essentially the other way around for us ponyfans. Since
    a) 80% of the characters are female
    and
    b) most bronies are drooling yuri fans
    prettty much all the pairings are F/F. The few regular M/M writers that exist often resort to either gender-bent versions of the female characters of ridiculously obscure background characters. I love them though :c
    (there's also the casual waves of homophobia that drift through the community which seem to only apply to male homosexuality for some reason)

    Religious OTPs, esoteric rule 34, headcanons that are PRACTICALLY CANON GUYS HERE'S WHY I'M RIGHT, fandom civil wars over names of background characters...
