There's this terrific book I read recently called Under the Banner of Heaven, and it takes a very in-depth look into America's fundamentalist Mormon society. The society that lives in the midwest and is all "POLYGAMY IS A DIVINE INSTITUTION HANDED DOWN DIRECTLY FROM GOD"

Actually on the second day of school, which was the first day I had my creative writing class, the teacher gave us a paper written by an atheist that expressed his views on God and was just dripping with sarcasm. The paper was written for a... program, I guess you could say... called This I Believe, and he twisted the words so his thesis was This I believe: there is no god. The teacher asked us to write a response to it, so I wrote my views on God. One of the first lines in the paper was "I'm probably the only one in the class that thinks this, but... I'm atheist." (I live in a particularly religious section of the country.) Another line was "I find the idea of an omnipotent, benevolent being... preposterous, to say the least."

The teacher called on me to read it for the class.

I got that idea from a picture I drew. I'll upload it in just a moment.

I have at least the base form of every non-legendary except for Dunsparce, Spiritomb and the Johto starters. The legends I'm missing are Mew, Mewtwo, the Johto legends, the Hoenn legends except the Regis and Arceus. I'm currently battling a couple trainers over and over while attaching the Experience Share to whatever Pokémon I'm trying to evolve and am on Omanyte (going in Pokédex order but skipping ones that don't evolve by level for the time being).
