    But we can't. And he's the only band kid gay enough to do it. (He's totally up for it though, he's the one who told the band director about his solo Hot Pants. And when I passed around my notebook for ideas he wrote down "A 30-minute monologue about how awesome my hot pants are".)

    I think we're going with Craig though. And me and my friend are planning out the details of Craig/the main character's duet. CRAIG GETS TO KISS HIM AT THE END. (assuming the mc's actor isn't so terribly freaked out by that.) A large portion of the song is also spent dancing ballroom-style. <3

    No actually it's Cook but it doesn't matter because I doubt it would be as funny if everyone in the band called him by his last name. I can definitely picture a scene in the movie where some kid's like "Bye, Lego!" or something and some other kid goes "... what's his real name?" and a third kid just whispers back "Nobody knows."
