• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

You didn't have to leave, it's probably a good idea to stay around and just lurk once in a blue moon even if you can't help.
How far are you in Twilight Princess?

ETA: Why are you not in the Basalt and Granite Group
    Very good!

I hope you are including the assassination of the archduke by the Black Hand in, because his death resulted in both alliances and nationalism muddling things up.
You've said that you are having troubles with a essay.

May I ask what your history paper is about?
True. Although paint is virtually useless except for spriting so I tend to use it for that. GIMP I use for things that need crisp lines, not pixely ones.
The thing with GIMP is that I don't know what brush size is the size of one pixel. Paint isn't that bad, anyway, it's fairly simplistic and has everything you need. I really see no need for GIMP in this case.
Well, the newer ones usually stay within a color scheme. If you have an eyedropper and a value switcher thingy you'll be fine.

    Do you use Microsoft Paint?

They certainly are for me too. That's probably because they don't usually exceed three colors, though, and they're very simplistic. Newer sprites take a lot more work to edit but the outcome is significantly better.

Although I can't argue that the vintage quality of the first/second generation sprites isn't a little bit cooler in some way, even if its less aesthetic.
You know, even though I know you were joking about the First Gen base mode thing, that would actually be kind of cool.
The Fire one is in the thread for Pokedex Templates. It's a fire dragon thing. I had to tell Rayven out of making it Dragon type, though. It's Fire and Steel. The last Grass evo is the one I put up on dA, we're currently working on the first two. In fact, if you look at the last evo's illustration and get any ideas, don't hesitate to put them up.

Unfortunately, Rayven only gets on when I force him to. So that might pose as a minor issue.
I'm sure they could figure it out somehow.

Obviously Rayven went back in what he said and is now approving your starter. Congrats, you've made it into the game.
Dunsparce too. His existence is screaming, "EVOLVE ME!" And that little shrew with Kangaskahn needs to exist too. Also, I'm kind of hoping for third stage Eevees at some point. That are double typed.
But it's fire. I thought there was another kitsune line, not sure why. I guess you're right.
I looooooove Chespin. Fennekin is meh. Vulpix cat thing we can do without. We've seen too many kitsune in Pokèmon.

True. Same to me with Fire. Water is pretty much lowest ranking to me. And Froakie looks pretty dumb in comparison. Doesn't really live up to the other two.
