• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • Kaskae: Wonderful. I was afraid you'd be like this. I get the distinct feeling that if I know ANYTHING, I'll know the whole plan, and I'm not going to like it.
Kaskae: That wasn't as specific as I hoping for. If it's like the last time they got in trouble, making a lot of commotion on the opposite side of town won't work. It didn't last time, it won't this time.

((Ulqiiiiii... So sleepy. Going climbing tomorrow. This conversation must be finished in the morning. Or possibly afternoon. Or both. Watch for forms and stuff. *Out cold*)
Kaskae: ... Oka-Hey, wait! *Catches up* Mind explaining anything to me first? Your plans don't exactly have a tendency to work flawlessly.
Kaskae: Right now is the worst possible time to leave. At the very least, we'd have to set up some failsafe for my brothers to get away if they have to. Kanzan's been abducting a lot of non-benders, and I don't want Paka sitting in a cage waiting for one of us to come save him! He's ten years old! You've known him since he could barely walk! Look, I'll go with you, but you have to help me first. I even know a guy who might loan us a Lizard-Dog, but only if I get your help first.
Kaskae: AAAAANONONONO! *Grabs shoulder* I said bad idea for a reason. The acolytes won't be very happy unless you have a heap of money with you. Which I know you don't. Besides, what about Talir and Paka? My brothers are helpless without us, and I can't just leave them. And you can't leave me, for your own good. So we have to stay. Talir can Waterbend a little, but he's never practiced hardly at all. They look up to you, hard to imagine as it may be.
Kaskae: And how do you plan on leaving? Sato-mobiles don't go fast enough, boats definetly aren't fast enough, and we have nothing else. Unless you plan on stealing a Sky Bison from Air Temple Island-which is also a bad idea-we're not getting very far.
    That's what I thought.

Kaskae: I-no, waitwaitwait! Just think for a moment. How long would you be able to keep calm without me around?
Mai and Kusari in particular would be doing that. I think I trust them, it's just the other people that might join that side I'm worried about. Who knows who they'll be. There's also the problem of too many people on one side. But I still would like to see the other side of the story...

Since it actually ISN'T up to me, and we're running this together, what do you think of opening three slots to be for Kanzan's side? Mai, Kusari, and one other can be three who get set on us after a few chance encounters, and they hunt us down quite often. If they turn out to be outnumber, say 5-7 against the three of them, we grant them bloodbending and such. Make them EXTREMEMLY skillful benders to match ourselves against.... Maybe?

Kinda' wish I could've done this, but I've never actually bothered to read the lyrics, so I don't know how it fits. Sounds good, though.

BTW, some people have already asked: What about letting people play on Kanzan's side? My only issue is that having two sides in an RP often makes things difficult to manage, sometimes confusing. And then at some point, someone has to die so someone can win. =/ Shall we or shall we not allow taking sides?
