    When you upload an image, it labels what the codes are for. (i.e. BBC Code: For forums HTML: Er...other type of site) The code you use depends on what kind of site your on.

    you don't have to put numbers, if you uploaded a picture, use the BBC codes for it. I'm not too sure what the image button does, but I know I just upload the image, either in an album or on tinypic (or various other sites), and use the code to have it in my signature! hope this helps a bit! ^^
