    Looking back now, I think it's fairly safe to say the amount of danger posed by swine flu was blown completely out of proportion (though most people realised that off the bat). I wonder what disease the media are going to hype over this year.

    I don't know anything about dog breeds but our family used to look after a cocker spaniel (few weeks a year until he died) and he was the friendliest thing ever, really lovable. Looked exactly like that. I like the name "doberman".. but pretty indifferent to the actual dogs.

    I don't think the idea of a 1% chance of escaping punishment is going to make anyone more likely to commit a crime than a total 0% you-will-be-caught guarantee. Either way the criminal assumes they will be caught. I guess the point here is that, if the occasional criminal does get away uncaught...
