This was it. Adelle had only to land a couple more hits on her foe, and she would have won. The problem now was which attack she needed to use. In the end, her trainer decided on Dazzling Gleam – a fine choice, an extravagant attack with which to end. Gwen did her best to scuttle away before the attack came out, but it was no use. Adelle burst into a quick flash of blinding light, and a wave of Fairy-type energy expanded around her, blowing through Gwen and sending the Spinarak sprawling. She didn’t get back up.

With that, the referee declared the end of the battle. ‘Twas a marvelous battle indeed, and everyone congratulated each other on a job well done. Inver, especially, was impressed, and though perhaps he was a little tired, he ensured the battlers that he would be able to handle maintaining his Inverse field for a little while longer, until the other two battles would have a chance to end.
