Open All's Fair Love And War: A Wolf rp

((wooops. I kinda forgot about this xD sorry))

Tobias turned and started at Sarah for a moment, then yawned.

"Hello." he mumbled, not seeming very talkative.

He fluffed his feathers up, looking annoyed. His tail flicked a bit, and he shifted his talons on the branch.

"Why is it so cold? It's annoying." he hissed.

Niractia felt as Kavik lept off of her in their fight and ran off. She heard Amaphia ask if she was okay, but never answered. Her cubs were gone.
The puma roared in fury, then took off out of the cave and raced after Kavik, the other wolverine and Amaphia. Seeing them, she lept at Kavik.
Saryn shook uncontrollably, never had he felt this scared before. Eglatune mewed loudly as she was put in Kavik's den, calling for her mother.

"You take Kavik, I'll take Kuroubaki," Amaphia said, looking back at her enemy and glaring into the wolverine's eyes fiercely.

Kuroubaki flinched, but stood her ground.

"Should we give them the cubs?" she asked her friend quietly.

Niractia answered Kuroubaki's question. "Yes, you should," She hissed. Then, flinging herself at Kavik, she screeched, "Go, Eglatune!"
The young puma obeyed her mother, running out of the wolverine's den and hiding in a bush outside.

Kavik turned his head and snapped the puma cub into his jaws. Grabbing it by the scruff he ran to the mouth of the den. The sound of tree's snapping was faint in the distance. A storm was coming and it planned to take him with it. "No! Never give up, we die in the storm of by pumas. We eat or surrender. The only choice is to keep going until we die!" Kavik screamed to his friend running out into the field. The snow hadn't stopped him before and it wasn't going to now.

He dashed into the forest where the tree's snapped in half around him. The wind wiped his face and he knew he wasn't going to make it out alive. Only a miracle would keep him alive.

"I'm coming with you!" shouted Kuroubaki over the howling wind. "Take the pup," she told the pumas. "I had no intention of eating something like that anyway. We all deserve to live."

She turned and ran. Ran, as hard and fast as her legs could carry her. The storm nearly blinded her, but she had to stay with Kavik.

She barely caught his scent behind fallen trees. She raced over and slashed at the trunks, attempting to dig through. "Kavik! You won't leave me!"

But Kavik still had a cub.

Even more furious than before, Amaphia raced behind him, at an advantage because her legs were better than a wolverine's short ones. She looked towards Niractia, as if saying "Get the cub," and leaped onto Kavik's back.

With frustration, Amaphia began to dig through and around the trees, furiously clawing them, doing anything to save the kit. She attacked them over and over, until she managed to climb onto one, and leaped into the clearing, on top of Kavik.

((They're more agile than he is. :3))

Meanwhile, Charon heard something going on. It was near his border, for some reason, but he knew it was across. Anyway, he sat on the border and watched the trees falling. He twitched his ears, wondering if he should interrupt.

Kuroubaki looked on with desperation. She couldn't get through to save Kavik.

Furious, she sharpened her claws on a tree and hoped to claw straight through. "Kavik! Don't leave me!"

Kavik then released the cub as the puma jumped on his back. He fell to the ground as the weight pushed down on him. He managed to scramble out of the puma's grip and gasped for air. (new rule added 4 characters per person now.)

A howl erupted from the tree's as a female wolf ran through the storm. She was surrounded by fallen trees, but she kept running. She saw a puma and a few wolverine fight. This was the last straw. No fighting on her turf. Wolf country was dangerous and wolves often killed strays from other clans. Then she saw him. "Kavik? Kavik!" She siad as she ran towards him. She growled at the puma's as she ran to her injured friend. She turned to the puma's and said. "My name is Storm Chaser of the wolf clan. I am called storm chaser because I only appear in storms, unless there and emergency. You have no right to trespass on my territory with your filthy cubs. Leave or shall the wrath of me and the storm tare you to pieces!" Storm Chaser said.

"Kavik!" Kuroubaki called again. Tears streamed down her cheeks. "Answer me!"

She heard something about a wolf named Storm Chaser. "Save Kavik!" she yelled desperately, sadness squeezing her chest and throat.

"I don't care!" Amaphia hissed, fetching the cub and darting back to camp, hoping that Niractia had the other one.

Niractia, usually the one who gave orders, obeyed Amaphia by grabbing Saryn. The male cub continued shaking until his mother grabbed him by the nape and took off after Amaphia. However, the puma queen ran saw her Clanmate soon. And Niractia almost jumped with joy as she saw young Eglatune in her jaws.
Eglatune, safe in the jaws of Amaphia, was sobbing with relief and shock. "Th-Thank you! Thank you, thank you, thank you.." She repeated over and over again, her mewlings shaky.

((I'll edit my post with the cubs' sign-ups.))

Kuroubaki had given up.

She turned and ran blindly through the forest, leaving deep pawprints, as she returned to the wolverines' camp and fell asleep, troubled by dreamless sleep.

Amaphia nodded. "You're welcome, little one. It was instinct."

She nodded at Niractia, also, before turning and heading towards the warriors' den.

Charon heard the rustling stop, and knew that everything was all right. He bounded back to camp to get some rest.

Niractia felt as thankful as her cub; she'd have to thank Amaphia later, right now they had to get home safely in this storm. While running back to the den, she fizzled with anger. She had loathed the Raven Clan for killing her father, but now it seemed that the Wolverine Clan was more of a threat. If they were now so despret as to raid other camps for cubs, pups and hatchlings, something had to be done about the food shortage.
