Brave New World

Name: Payden Jordan
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Species: Human

Appearance: He is a tall man, but only a little taller than his wife Vienna, with short chopped hair that curls around his ears and ends. He has deep green eyes and a small scar under his chin from a school yard scuffle sticking up for his younger sister Gwen. He likes to wear blue, claiming that it was a colour his mother would always dress him in as a child and found it comforting. Sporting a short sleeved baseball shirt with long sleeved shirt underneath, black gloves with leather on the palm and fingers for grip, dark blue-green cargo pants with a multitude of zipper pockets and sturdy thick-soled army boots.

He has dark skin from his father, brown hair from his mother and a chain around his neck with pendents given to him by his parents when he started out on his journey. After meeting his Wife, he obtained another pendent to represent her and a has another stored away to add on a later date when their child is born.

Side: Human
Personality: PO mostly

Payden is a honest man, hard working and very gentle despite his appearance. Like his mother, it takes a lot of work to get him genuinely angry but if pushed to that point he is sad to have a icy fury that lets you know he is angered with carefully selected words and action. Even when angry, he would not be the first to throw the punch but he will be damned if he doesn't finish the fight.

History: His father is Native to Sinnoh, living closer to the desert on the island off the coast of Snowpoint. His mother on the other hand was from Kanto, whom travelled from region to region to find and collect different pokemon. Many have claimed that Payden inherited his wanderlust from his mother, often taking walks into the brush and woods as a young lad. When on said walks, his mother's Rotom Kupo would often follow him to ensure that he didn't get himself lost or hurt when having his "Adventure".

Like most children he took the paces of schooling and becoming a trainer, accompanied by Kupo and later given her pokeball by her mother as a graduation gift, he took to the road to begin his training career. Following his Mother's steps, he took on challenges from each region, testing his mantle and his pokemon against the gym leaders and other trainers that issued a challenge. Though he enjoyed being a trainer, he became interested in the job the Daycare did, taking care of pokemon and helping them conceive healthy offspring.

During his travels he found himself in the audience of a tournament, watching trainers from around the world battling each other for titles and competition. It was during this tournament that he met his future wife Vienna.

When the attacks begun, he was seperated from his wife when him and Bran were fired at. Wanting to keep his wife and her pokemon safe, he drew away the enemy fire as long as he could until they were both knocked out of the skies and lost into the Terra below. Wounded, he managed to tie a sling for Bran's wing before returning her to her ball so she may rest. Now he treks through the woods, trying to find a baring in hopes of finding Vienna.

Moves/Team:
Rotom
[Kupo/Rotom/Female/Levitate/Quirky nature]
OT: PAYDEN
ID No.: 73091
Given to Payden by his mother, Kupo is a very odd Rotom to say the least. She is rather active and finds time to enjoy a good chuckle now and then while keeping an eye on her old trainer's son
[Discharge/Hex/Ominous Wind/Thunderwave/Pain Split/Signal Beam]

Unfezant
[Bran/Unfezant/Female/Super Luck/Gentle nature]
OT: PAYDEN
ID No.: 73091
During his travels in Unova he came across Bran when she was a young Pidove, sporting a broken wing and sitting under a tree that she fell from. Feeling sorry for the pokemon, he took care of her, nursed her back to health and gained a new partner. She grew to be a very agile flyer, carrying him over cities and meadows during his travels in Unova and beyond. She is the calm and loving matriarch of the group.
[Steel Wing/Fly/Razor Wind/Tailwind/Aerial Ace/Sky Attack]

Pupitar
[Vyne/Pupitar/Male/Shed Skin/Quiet nature]
OT: PAYDEN
ID No.: 73091
A very silent 'mon, he was captured during Payden's travels in Jhoto after a chance encounter when fleeing from a rather hungry houndoom. Ducking into a cave to hide, Payden actually tripped over the Pupitar where it slept.
[Superpower/Iron Defence/Curse/Sandstorm/Chip Away/Earthquake]

Weavile
[Bun/Weavile/Female/Pressure/Rash nature]
OT: PAYDEN
ID No.: 73091
When visiting Snowpoint, waiting for a ship to where his Father lived, he came across a young Sneasel half buried in the snow and sporting a array of wounds. Rushing her to a pokecenter, he was informed that this pokemon was a regular. Bun was a rash one, running into trouble and challenges without thinking of what may happen, which lead to her being beaten half-to-death by stronger pokemon. Sitting in the waiting room, he waited for Bun to be discharge so he would know she would be alright. After that, he would sense a presence following him, ducking behind objects whenever he turned back. Needless to say he eventually found her and added her to his team.
[Nightmare/Pursuit/Dark Pulse/Icy Wind/Nasty Plot/Retaliate]

Other: Husband to Vienna (yes Colours gave me permission). Also yay for random moves and info.

Quick! I gotta make another character!

Name: Rose
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Species: Absol
Side: Pokemon

Appearance: Mostly your normal Absol, except for two things. Like Shawn, her claws are made of solid rock. Also, she is bright red and sparkly. In other words, she's shiny Absol.

Personality: Very protective of the people she cares for. Rose is a very brutal on the battlefeild, but she is completely unable to kill. She's stubborn, and most of the time carefree. Every once in a while, she'll just stop and stare at nothing, wondering where her brother is. All that, and PO.

Other: She is Shawn's older sister.

History:
NOTE: Being Shawn's sister, their history is very much the same, only from Rose's veiw. Some peices will be taken straight from Shawn's History.

Rose was overjoyed when her baby brother was coming. A new member of the family. She couldn't wait! When he arrived, it seemed as if an aura of joy was cast around their territory. However, Rose's and the family's joy didn't last very long. It only took a week after Shawn's arrival for disaster to strike.

One day, Rose's father was out hunting. He heard a rustle in the bushes, and licked his lips, hoping for a Bidoof. The Absol pounced on the bush, scythe raised, when a large violet shape attacked him. The beast had no arms nor did it have legs. It had a feirce stare, and black markings on its upper body that would've struck fear into a Houndoom. The Arbok pinned him down to prevent escape, and a humanoid shape appeared behind him. The human held up two meltal rods that were stuck together, and aimed them at the Absol.

Back at the Absol territory, the whole family heard a loud bang. A few minutes later, Rose smelled smoke, and asked her mother what it could be. She had no idea, but she was suspicious when a number of yellow shapes appeared at the base of the mountain. Rose's mother handed Shawn to her, and decended down the mountain.

With a closer look, one could easily see that there was a human in each of these creatures. One of the beasts that had a single clawed arm stuck its claw in the ground and pulled out a clump of dirt. Shawn's mother kept moving foward, despite the holes. Apparently, the construction workers were oblivious to her, as well. The clawed arm came down on the Absol, and she let out a loud howl.

Rose was frozen to her spot, eyes wide with disbelief. She had just watched her mother die right in front of her eyes. However, when Shawn started crying, she snapped out of it. She carried him to a very far distance, and eventually stopped at a Route the humans know as Route 212. Rose cared for her baby brother for years, and when he was old enough to fend for himself, she let him go. Mostly.

She kept her eye on him for quite some time, just in case he was ever in trouble. He never was, and once he reached the age of 10, she left completely. She missed her brother, and regreted not telling him what happened to their parents. However, one day, she reached a city known to the humans as Hearthome, not long after Shawn reached it. What did she see? She saw pokemon ruling it. And to say the least, she loved it. It was humans who had killed her parent, and she wanted to let them know who's boss. She took reside in Hearthome, and became a very powerful pokemon through that.

Highmoon Accepted, Dar's second character accepted

Name: Isei-Korujin (Ee-SAY-ee Koh-RU-jeen) - most call him Isei

Age: 200

Gender: Male

Species: Beheeyem

Appearance: He looks like a standard-issue Beheeyem: a short, humanoid pokemon that has a head shaped like a large hat, with black markings going along the front of said hat. At the bottom of the "hat" are thin green eyes, and has four beige dots on his chest, and beige markings on his neck. He has long, thin arms, and on his palms are three dots, one red, one yellow, one green.

Side: Human

Personality: Isei is a loner, and one that doesn't like to get himself involved in anyone else's business. In a way, he's a spokesman for the idea of Neutrality - both the kind that's "in it for me," and also the kind that would very much prefer if one group went on one side of a line, and the other group the other, and then just have everyone walk away. He finds the concept of war... detestable, to say the least. Of course, in the war-torn land that is Sinnoh, he is soon finding that neutrality is slowly not becoming an option

History: Isei doesn't like to elaborate on how he traveled from Unova to Sinnoh. When occasionally asked by a wayward pokemon, he simply says "I ended up here" and float away. He spent the years before the rebellion skulking about Celestic Town, usually avoiding conversation with his fellow pokemon and even the occasional curious human. Whenever someone would refuse to to leave him alone, his composure would falter, and he would crush their moods rather simply: read their mind, figure out their darkest fear, and spell out that fear as bluntly as he could. It usually worked

The one time it didn't work was when a mysterious figure approached him, asking him on his opinion of humans. When Isei refused to respond, the creature persisted; Isei's response was the same: read his mind and figure out what he feared the most. What he found was a nightmarish blur of violent images; it was the one moment that Isei would admit that he himself experienced fear. Shaken, he merely admitted to the figure that he didn't mind humans - they were there, he was here. And so the figure left, and Isei got the distinct impression that his response had disappointed the stranger.

Had he known that the stranger was planning to declare war on humans, perhaps he would have tried a different response. A few years after the mysterious figure spoke with him, pokemon surrounding Celestic launched an attack on the settlement, killing most of the humans therein. After they left, Isei followed, wondering what had caused the strange attack. It was in doing so that he learned of the rebellion, as well as the one that caused it - the mysterious creature that spoke with him years ago. Isei decided quickly that he wouldn't do anything to intervene in this war - he soon declared that it wasn't his war at all.

He was wrong. About two weeks prior to the RP beginning, a human fled to Isei's hideout - now in between Solaceon and Celestic - while being pursued by a group of pokemon. She wanted to use his hideout as Sanctuary. He refused her, leaving her to be killed by the pokemon. While they congratulated him for his "efforts", the entire sequence of events... troubled him. He felt a small pang of guilt for leaving the human to die.

Not that he's admitted this to anyone, mind you. After the incident, he returned to Celestic to find that many other pokemon had made it their home too. It was as if the place was as it had been when humans held supremacy, only without the humans. He decided to make the place his home too, where he could think about where he stood in this war.

Posting this in a reply because you missed my question/reserve post. All good though. Reserving, won't be done in one go.

Name: Glum

Age: 35

Gender: Male

Species: Dusknoir

Appearance: A floating, tubby ghost Pokemon with what looks like a zig-zag mouth and eyes on his front, in yellow. The rest of his body is mostly shades of grey, minus his black eye with a red pupil and yellow markings on his head. The bottom of his body trails into a zig-zag wisp which looks mostly solid in a sense. His eye's expression is usually, instead of a glare, more of a mellow, sad look, like he has lost something. It would be noted that his colors are actually slightly faded, looking somewhat like worn cloth of the same color.

Side: Human

Personality: Grim, gloomy, and depressed. He's more likely to avoid both people and Pokemon, but he might confront those he feels he can relate to.

History: Glum used to a prankster, pulling tricks on would-be explorers of the Old Chateau, along with who he considered a beautiful female Dusknoir. They kind of "ruled the castle", so to say, but they knew not to take it too far and always gave other ghost Pokemon a chance to have their fun, and sometimes left the trainers alone in general. Glum was somewhat oblivious when the revolt started, but a mysterious figure came to the chateau and recruited Pokemon for some kind of "revenge" or "Judgement Day" or something for them. Glum didn't like the sound of this... he liked the humans, he had fun with them, even if they were afraid of him. Some of them actually laughed at his pranks! His mate, however, was fed up, seeing that many trainers had caught and "used" their friends. Glum tried to convince her to stay, but, no avail. She left with a few others, and the rest became reclusive, including Glum, who lost his cheery trickster side as soon as he watched her go. He couldn't believe it. After that, he just wandered the Chateau, deep in the back rooms. Sometime's he'd come out and see if anyone was coming, but for two months, no one. He only had other ghosts as his friends, and soon hid from them as well. What will happen to him now, he only hopes for the best...

D'oh, I missed... another one. But it all checks out, so you're accepted.

Okay, Main RP will go up either tonight or tomorrow. MORE HYPE!

Indeed! We're picking it up a bit now. Will there be Lounge for this if it keeps getting bigger?

Alright, all finished up at last. I wasn't sure if weapons were allowed or not so I simply assumed they were and to be fair I do need some way to protect myself don't I?

Thorne's character is accepted.

I'll start up a Lounge once the server stops impeding progress, allowing activity to pick up

Noted the 4 character limit, going to make a human (based off my OC for a friends story ^^).

Name: Peter Whitewater

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Species: Human

Appearance: He stands about 5'8" with a lean build. His hair is moderate length, sandy brown, running in a couple spiked bangs, one long and two short, in front of his face, and about halfway down the back of his neck. His light-blue eyes are usually bright with expression, and he almost always wears a look of content.

He wears khaki cargo pants, though they are a bit worn from travel and such, and black and blue sneakers, along with a belt with pokeball clips. His upper wear is a navy-blue t-shirt and a red jacket with grey edging and grey stripes on the sleeves. He usually wears a black and light-blue baseball cap.

Side: Human (of course)

Personality: Mostly PO.
Outgoing, friendly, and almost always in a good mood, though gets serious when need be. He's usually optimistic and always tries to help out.

History: Peter actually grew up in Hoenn, with just his mom. His dad was a traveler by nature, and didn't come home much, if it all. When Peter was 8, he visited Professor Birch, and after showing a strong tie with Pokemon, was allowed to help Birch in the field. He spent until he was 11 working with Birch, until he successful showed his skill not only in working with Pokemon for research, but battling, protecting Birch from 3 Poochyena's with a Mudkip. Both Birch, and his mother, agreed that he should become a full fledged trainer, and go on his journey. He spent a year and a half travelling Hoenn, collecting Pokemon and badges, finally becoming a hall of famer. He spent another year continuing to travel Hoenn, filling out the Pokedex so he could return it. He then headed for Sinnoh.

Peter traveled Sinnoh for another one and a half years and completed the league as well as catching many Pokemon. However, not long after, the rebellion started, and he made it to Veilstone City when he heard what was going on. Since then, he's been hiding out in the city just as much as the others, but unlike some, he hopes for the best, and believes that somehow, they'll make it through.

Okay, dunno if this is any good...

Name:*Opal

Age:*4 Human years

Gender:*Female

Species:*Nidorina

Appearance:* Opal is a very pale and large Nidorina, almost completely white fur and ears with extra spots bewteen her eyes and on her shoulder. One of the most noticable features on Opal is the presence of a horn, not a particularly large one though, more or less a male Nidoran's size. Opal also has rather small-ish eyes for her kind that are red all over, without the whites. Opal also has a bladed Seviper-tail.

Side:*Pokemon

Personality:*Most of her personality was shaped by her past, which is a bit of a bad thing. Somewhat sadistic, she enjoys inflicting suffering on humans. She tends to downplay the hardships of others when compared to hers. If she doesn't get her way (especially with tricky prey) she tends to lose her temper instantaneously since in her old life, she was used to roaring and stomping about until she got fed... or struck with a cattle prod.

It's not known how she is towards other Pokemon since she never had any real interaction with them.

History:*Most Pokemon had the benefit of living free or at least with someone to care for them. Opal however had never known any freedom, being a captive born lab-Nidoran that spent most of her life either as a subject of experiments, such as gene splicing that resulted in her Seviper tail and a lot of her internal physiology at a young age as well as TM testing.

Most Pokemon subjected to these tests died quite miserably but Opal managed to survive and succeed throughout each one. As such a rare specimen she was frequently moved about to different regions and areas. Between these she was usually locked in a cage and was fed mostly on failed subjects, including other Nidoran.

When the Pokemon rebellion started, Opal was being moved to the Team Galactic building in Sinnoh for research into a new TM. The moving van was ambushed by Pokemon and knocked over, letting all of the on board subjects, including Opal to escape. The scientists transporting the pokemon panicked and terminated the majority of the subjects, however they met a rather grizzly end at Opal's hands.

Opal isn't exactly a dedicated Rebel but more of an independent traveller who's diet now consists entirely of wandering and vulnerable humans. Of course, she'll kill humans for enrichment too. She's a bit bitter like that.

Moves:* Poison tail, Pursuit, Thunderbolt (rarely used), Counter, Body slam, Dig, Double Team, Poison fang.

Other:*Shares several characteristics with Seviper including the bladed tail, ability to eat large prey whole and a strong distain for Zangoose. Tends to toy with her targets for the sake of enrichment. The genetic testing had also left her with enhanced endurance and althleticism.
