• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Camp Halfblood: a Perseus Jackson roleplay

((Yeah, but if RPGs are consistent with the book or game they're based off, they usually aren't very fun. It's better if the RPers can do what ever they want.))

((I was thinking only for now, only this Capture the Flag. It's up to Flora. And we WILL do whatever we want in the game, it's only the teams we're talking about.))

((Yeah, but we still already made alliances, so I think we should just keep those, and we could always use the book's teams next time. I think aliances should be listed on the front page once we decide.))

((Well, I don't care who's with who, so it's up to Flora. If she ever goes online again. But for now, we'll stick with the alliances we've already formed. Not the ones in the book.

And Evoliiiiii... DDD:))

"Okay, I think I WILL!", Acacia snapped. She cracked the whip loudly and twisted the end around Stormshade, attempting to pull it out of Vai's hands. Hopefully, anyway. At least, it would take her a bit to get it untangled. At the same time, the vines that Vai had cut apart slowly began to move again, snaking around her ankles in an attempt to trip her again.

((Let's just wait. It's only like, Tuesday morning, RPwise. Flora, have a nice stay at Disneyworld, COME BACK SOON WE NEED YOU FOR SOMETHING. -_-))

((Right, getting this rolling~))
Vai yelled, and Stormshade split itself into a pair of daggers, the vine whip whip going back to Acacia. Bending at the waist, she slashed more furiously at the vines, wincing as she saw her collection of cuts. Oh, damn. Vai moved to the side a bit, and shifted Stormshade back into a pole. She lunged forward as far as she could, pulling back quickly.

Acacia tried to dodge. But using her powers so often in such a short amount of time was quickly taking it's toll. She ended up being hit in the head with the pole and falling over dizzily. This wasn't working! Attacking directly would be stupid. She knew she probably wasn't as strong as Vai, so she could try to confuse her.. not that this could last too much longer.
Ohcrap oh crap momomomomom!!
She quickly recovered and rolled to the side. She'd been creating plants so far, but changing one that was already there..
Ripping up a handful of grass and weeds (Sorry!) Acacia threw them at Vai's face. In midair, they started growing thorns and dripping sticky sap. Still a little lightheaded, she to trip her with the end of the whip.

Vai ducked, a drop of sap getting in her hair. I'll steal some shampoo from Aphrodite later, she decided. The tip of Acacia's whip got her in the leg, and Vai pulled her leg up reflexively.. and out of the thorns. One foot loose. Stepping forwards, Vai lunged with Stormshade again, leaving a bloody footprint in the ground.

This time, Acacia was slightly more prepared. She ducked just in time to avoid Stormshade hitting her on the head again. This wasn't getting anywhere either, so there was one thing left to do..
Acacia lunged and attempted a direct attack with the whip to Vai's face.
Heh, this's gonna huuuurttt!

Vai put up Stormshade, and the whip ripped across the back of her head, opening a fair-sized cut. Swearing, she cut herself out of the last vines.
"Alright, if you want to fight dirty, bring it on," she snarled, and shifted Stormshade into her regular pair of daggers. Pushing herself, she even split one in half, making a wrist guard for herself.
"For Hermes," she yelled, and slashed at Acacia's head with one dagger, the other aiming for her chest. Vai nearly tripped on her weak legs, before jumping back.
((Someone stop me before I reference Maple Story- Too late. DDD:))

((Hey, I was really tempted to make my character scream something about Sparta. >>))
The downside of using a whip, of course, was that you couldn't really block attacks with it. She tried to block the attack to her face with moderate success, ending up with a relatively light scratch across her face, and a huge slash in her shirt, with a very deep cut on her chest underneath. Acacia bit her tongue hard to avoid making any sound, almost immediately tasting blood.
"Oh, you think that's fighting dirty?!", she laughed madly. Without warning, she aimed a punch at Vai's face. If she was going to lose anyway, she might as well cause as much damage as possible..

Nessaorse watched the battle, a look of slight concern taveling across her thin face. For most people that know the misanthropatic girl, they know that this is rare. For a moment, she was quite concered, especially seeing that chest wound.
Sighing, she limped a bit closer to the corner, then whispered to Travis, "Isn't this getting a bit..insane?" Continuing to watch, the girl was somewhat impressed by the wounded campers' hatred. "On second thought..."

((Stop you're giving me ideas DDD:))
Vai fell back from Acacia's fist, and slashed forwards again. This isn't going to end, is it? She leapt back again, and shifted both daggers of Stormshade into a bladed pole. This is going to end soon.. With a small cry, she jumped for Acacia again.

A line of blood appeared on Alphonse's hand, as expected. The downside of being a child of Ares was the strange ability they had of not being able to stay still while watching a battle. And the way he was pinching his arms not to intervene wasn't very helpful either.

And I have to get another shirt. Too bad Enlet hasn't got arms to pinch, it's making holes on my shirt...

Running over to Nessarose, who also looked concerned, Reitsu cried out, "This is getting out of hand! Should we do something? At least get the ambrosia and nectar ready?" Without waiting for an answer, she pulled Nessarose to the the hospital. Bursting in, she readied a canteen of nectar, half-full, and a few pieces of ambrosia in case Vai and Acacia got overwhelmed. She and Nessarose took up a spot close to the scene and continued to watch, ready in case anything was to happen.

Nessarose glared at Reitsu, her rusty-reddish brown eyes resembling twin flames. Why did everyone drag her around just because she quallified as a cripple? However, one of the fighting campers was probably going to drop at any moment, and she sure as hell couldn't catch whoever it may be. Too much weight for her leg. She grabbed as much as she could stuff in her bags and arms as she half-limped, half-crawled to a safe spot, traling behind a bit.

Acacia didn't even try to dodge the first attack, seemingly not even noticing when she received a huge gash along her arm. Twisting away, she tried to pull Stormshade away again with the whip, purposely aiming for Vai's hands.
