Open Camp Halfblood: a Perseus Jackson roleplay

Shay drew her sword, Ebonite. Swinging the celestial bronze weapon, she clashed swords with Enlet, resulting in a metallic clang. Shay tried again, aiming to hit Alphonse's sword hand with the flat side of Ebonite.
 
Alphonse smiled upon hearing the sound of metal hitting metal. His blood pumped harder with excitement, and instanly knew this duel would be fun. Noticing the attack, he placed the blade in a vertical position, where it blocked the attack. It was a perfect defense, but had cost him an attack chance, for returning to the original position would give time to Shay to recompose herself, and Enlet, being a heavy blade, only made the job harder.
 
Suzume watched as Alphonse and Shay sparred. Well, if no one was watching, then why train? Suzume sat down beside Reitsu, saying a simple "Hi.".
 
Shay, seeing her chance, quickly jerked her sword upward, then brought the flat side crashing down on Alphonse's head. Good thing Ebonite is a light blade... but still, that's going to bruise.
 
Travis, bored and having ambled over, sat behind the nearby Suzune and Reitsu and idly spun an arrow like a baton through his fingers, before glancing at the archery targets...in a little while, he decided, he would do some target practice.
 
((Taliax, the one who receives the hit says if it hits or not (I think so). Anyway, even though Alphonse couldn't attack, doesn't mean he couldn't defend again.))
 
((Sorry. ^^; I haven't roleplayed much before. Well, pretend that was what Shay attempted to do, and block or let it hit or whatever.))

Appearance: She has dark, raven-black hair down to her waist, usually kept in a ponytail. Her eyes are the color of rust.Tan skin, usually in a T-shirt and a rugged pair of jeans, although around this time she sports a reddish jacket. Quite tall for her age, around 5'6.
Personality:A bit sarcastic, Nessarose*call her Nessie, and you're probably screwed* is usually fasinated by fire and heat, and cold does not bother her. Very laid back, she's not one to panic. Mostly. She's a bit prone to bouts of anger and quite cold to people she does not trust. However, Nessarose is a good, solid friend. There are huge chunks of snark in her personality, and is very sarcastic.
Other:Walks with a bit of a limp because of a small..muscular problem.
Hope it's not too late, I'm sllooow to notice things.

Jason waddled off, heading into the training area. Noticing Reitsu, he sat next to her. "I suppose you're watching them practice," he muttered, staring as those who were practicing continued to do so. "Do you always watch them," he contiuned, casting her a glance once more.

Vai looked at Stormshade a second, and thought what she could do to the Demeter cabin.. maybe rob them? Apparently the other cabins kept all their stuff around them. Why would they leave their stuff just there, ready to be stolen?
Vai grinned and padded lightly up to the Demeter door. This would be way too easy.. unless someone was inside. She listened at the door... and was right. Great. Vai sighed. Well, she'd get Shay to creep in with her socks things, and she's pick the lock for her. Yeah.

But for now, she'd have to do with planning for Friday's Capture the Flag.
 
Reitsu mumbled a response. She did watch, though she wasn't picky about who. It was just fun.

((Woah, nearly half the squad is watching a practice fight...))

Nessarose blinked a few times to fully get herself out of her little trance. She sighed, hobbling over to the large crowd of other beings on the field. Things were...in a word, different here. So many people,as opossed to her living with her mother in Jersey.
Then again, no one here was drunk. Her eyes traveled over the whole place, resting on the Detemer cabin. Nessarose paused.Wait a minute... That didn't look like a Detemer kid. she shrugged it off, not really caring, the hyperness of her ADHD getting to her now.
In a word, here were two teenagers fightng with otherwordly, lethal weapons, and she was bored.
Nessarose sat onto the pillowy grass and took out a sphere of metal she found somewhere.

(If it's Ok, can I have soem kind of weapon of total awesomeity too?Like a axe of some sort that is broiling hot to everyone but Nessarose?)

Acacia slowed to casual walk as she neared the cabin. She needed to water her garden and make sure nobody had done anything to the flowers again. She was so distracted, she almost ran into... Vai.
"What are you doing here? Get away from my cabin!", She snarled, pulling the flower pin off her shirt. It would take only a few seconds to morph it into a whip if she wanted to..

Reitsu got bored of watching and went to perfect her (already perfect) archery.
Shooting arrow after arrow, thoughts drifted around. She hadn't gotten a quest in more than 2 YEARS....Reitsu longed to feel the excitement again.
Momentarily distracted, an arrow whizzed past the heads of the still-watching campers, missing them by an inch.
"Um..sorry guys."

Nessarose saw a few campers quarralling and limped over there. Not to stir a battle or anything, but..she found quarrals interesting, wanting to find the basis. Acacia, or at least that's what Nessarose thought her name was, was reaching for her weapon.
She threw the golden ball up and caught it as she walked, not even glancing up. It's amazing what you can get your hands to do when your legs are a bit messed up.
She stood there, hoping the Detemer girl did not see her.
 
"Meh, I'm bored now." Shay carefully put Ebonite into its sheath, deciding to end the practice fight. I shouldgo find Va and start planning for Friday, Shay thought. When Shay neared the cabin, she noticed the broken window and sniggered. Heh, I guess the Demeter cabin wasn't too happy... I shoud get them again some time.

Vai waved to Shay.
"See that broken window," she asked, pointing. "This is war." Vai grinned. "So, maybe we could go ally with the Ares cabin. In the meanwhile, d'you have any more weedkiller?"
