Pokemon, trained to be the best fighters of all and evolved so that they are truly terrors in battle. Those same Pokemon, held in specialized sleep-chambers to ensure that the next Champion would have the honour of having them as his team. Around them, the world collapses, as ambitious humans squabble. Some influential people want the world for themselves, and don't wish to share with restless trainers. The Pokemon League is forgotten, the Elite Four in disgrace, and no Champions come forth. Mechanical weapons are created, and destruction reigns as trainers and Pokemon are hunted down by those who'd rather live without a reminder that so much money goes into supporting trainers who give nothing in return. Until, at last, the turmoil ceases, leaving the regions relying on Pokemon for simpler tasks: rebuilding the gyms and cities that were in the conflict, hunting for food, and finding suitable places to expand settlements. A chance dig near Union Cave in the Johto region reveals a strange set of rooms. Curiosity is what drives the ones doing the dig to discover the sleeping Pokemon, but most of the world wouldn't be too thrilled to have them awakened.

Okay, so there are three 'sides' so to speak. The sleeping Pokemon (which obviously have to be Pokemon), the members of the dig (human or Pokemon) and the remnants (humans, and are against the idea of Pokemon and humans working together). Sound simple? There will be fights, which will be in ASB-style, and Pokemon and humans can communicate, to make things easier. The RP will start when we have around two members on each 'side', though people will still be able to join.

Rules:
1. No netspeak, and type out your words. Capitalization and punctuation are your friends.
2. No real post minimum, but one-liners are often quite dull. Try to make it two, if you can. :P
3. No powerplaying or mindreading.
4. If you've read these rules, put stormcloud into your application.

Name: Skaldia
Gender: Female
Species: Aerodactyl
Age: 18 when put into the sleep chambers
Description: With thick hide the colour of stormclouds and long, narrow wings, Skaldia is built for speed and agility. The spike on the back of her skull is elongated, with a slight curve, and her claws are long enough to let her awkwardly pick things up. Her talons are also long, but obviously meant for fighting rather than dexterity. Her tail is thick, so it can act as a rudder, but gradually tapers to the arrowhead at its tip, and is long enough to be used as a mix of a club and a whip.
Personality: Skaldia is focused, harsh and demanding. She likes to be respected by everyone else, and hates being pampered. She tends to try and dominate the conversation, and often shows off just how dangerous she truly can be. She isn't very diplomatic, and will get impatient if she's not doing anything important. She is a good leader, but tends to focus on herself instead of a whole group.
Bio: Skaldia was caught and trained by Lance when she was only three years old, and was completely devoted to him until she was chosen as one of the Pokemon to be put in the sleep-chambers for the ultimate Champion. She abandoned Lance eagerly for this honour, and ended up with quite a few others in the chambers, sleeping peacefully until they were opened up once more.

Species: Tyranitar
Age: 28 when put into the sleep chamber
Description: A tall, earth-green Pokemon. He has spikes running down his back and a blue patch on his belly. His tail looks something like a pinecone and a cedar tree. He has big, stomping feet and clawed hands, with black flecks above the blue patch. He is taller than usual, seven feet two inches tall instead of six feet six inches. Due to this, he is about 455 pounds instead of 445.
Personality: He is usually calm. He is also artistic and creative, and relies on logic. It's easy to make friends with him. Qua is brave and will stand up to any enemy. He prefers strong attacks and is very protective of his friends.
Bio: Yeah, I'm lazy. He's a sleeper. He was trained and evolved by a friendly trainer, but felt that she had betrayed him when he was put in his chamber. He hunts her down to this day.

STORMCLOUDS BRING RAIN. YOU'RE PROBABLY SMART ENOUGH TO FIGURE THAT OUT.

Name: Ancea (pronounced on-say-uh)
Gender: Female
Species: Kabutops
Age: She lived to 57 before she died in the past, and was revived 22 years before she was put into the chamber.
Description: Her exoskeleton is dark brown, and she has black scythes.
Personality: Ancea prefers to fend for herself; however, she is friendly and cares about others when she's in a group. Ancea loves to learn and pays straight attention, but she is easily distracted and her mind will often drift off into a different world (not literally, of course). Ancea always thinks before she acts, and will not do anything that would greatly affect her allies without permission.
Bio: Her prehistoric past is unknown. When she was revived, Ancea fled and lived in Turnback Cave. However, she was found by a passing scientist and put into a sleeping chamber.

There's no Other option, so I'll just put this here. Did you know that Kabutops's name roughly means "helmet face"? and, Stormcloud.

Name: Charcoal was the name his trainer named him, but he prefers... okay I can't think up any decent name, so I'll just keep Charcoal -.-" But his nickname is Char, or just Coal.
Gender: Male
Species: Charizard
Age: 27
Description: Charcoal is much bigger than a normal Charizard (reason in bio part), and his eyes... erm, actually eye, is not blue, but light green. He has a long scar over his left eye and is blind on that eye, so it is foggy and dull. The scar he got in a vicious fight with another Charizard, they were fighting for a female.
Personality: Charcoal is kind towards others, but is very protective against territory and friends and family, or just other Pokémon in the same evolution line as he is. He can be very vicious against other Pokémon, but would never kill if it wasn't necessary. He can be very stubborn, and would rarely obey any trainer he finds is not worthy.
Bio: Char was raised up in Charicific Valley as a Charmander, and he was always the strongest of his species when he was a Charmander and Charmeleon. But when he evolved, he was the weakest of the Charizards of Charicific Valley, so he trained... and trained all day long, hoping to become the strongest of his species.

After the years passed, he grew bigger and stronger, and he was then one of the most respected and most strongest of all Charizards. As he grew up in Charicific Valley, he also became a lot bigger than a normal Charizard that you could get after evolving a Charmeleon.

When Char passed the twenties, he decided to get a family. He was already in love with one of the female Charizards in the Valley, but even though he was the toughest, strongest and biggest Charizard in Charicific Valley, he had not the guts to tell his crush about his feelings.

When another one of the Charizards found out that he loved the female Charizard, it challenged him. They fought and fought, but Char lost, and he had always remembered that from the scar over his left eye. He left the valley in disgrace, weakened and sad, so when a powerful trainer found him, they battled, but Char was too weak, so he was captured.


Stormcloud :3 and WOW that was a long bio, at least for me :D

Gender: Female
Species: Flygon
Age: 25 when put into suspension.
Description: Kali stands about 8 feet tall, with long, vibrant antennae and bright, lime-colored skin. She has large wings, the standard 8 tail segments, and relatively large arms and long claws.
Personality: Kali is very smart and independently-thinking, as well as cunning and determined to prove herself. She can be ruthless at times, seeing those who don't put in the effort to fulfill their potential as 'lazy' and 'worthless.' She does also have a friendly side, appreciating those who give her respect.
Bio: Kali was one of several Flygons trained by Drake, the legendary Dragon trainer from Hoenn. She was always overshadowed by some of her older, more experienced siblings, but showed a remarkable potential for greatness, something that Drake himself wasn't able to capitalize on completely. When she was chosen to become a sleeper, she was told that she "deserves someone with the right combination of brains and guts to handle her," claiming that wasn't him.

Personality: Esther is very quiet when engaged in conversation. She thinks about what other people say. Esther is also quite proud, and wouldn't mind attacking someone who had insulted her. She was born and raised in the wild, making her wary of humans. She thinks lesser of most human-raised Pokemon.
Bio: Ran into the Union cave to be sheltered from a stormcloud.

Wow. Lots of chamber Pokémon ^^; I started writing my application when no-one had posted... And PichuK, the Pokémon have to be fully evolved.
 
Wow, everyone is a sleeper. O_o No one wants to be a human or a Pokemon on the dig?

Edit: Nevermind, Esther's not a sleeper. Thus, she doesn't need to be fully evolved. XD Alright, Kali, PichuK and Bakuphoon are accepted. Cryptica, add the personality section, and Darksong, read the rules again. You're missing something. ^^

Name: Halan
Gender: Male
Species: Lucario
Age: 5 when put to sleep, no clue how old he is now...
Description: Taller than most Lucarios. He wears a necklace with three polished rocks made by his trainer. He also has longer fur of the back on his head that he ties back into a small pony. He has a blue face with black markings looking like a mask over his eyes and nose, a yellow belly with a spike through it, ble arms and black paws. His lower body is blue that look like pant with skinny black legs and feet.

Personality: Noble and kind, he often watches after those around him. Whenever someone is hurt, he'll do his best to help them. He often called the "Zen Master" for his attiude towards fighting and his fighting style itself.

Bio: Reconized as being pretty strong for a Lucario, he was asked to be one of the pokemon that would be given to the next champion that defeats the Elite Four. His last trainer didn't want to give him up, but in the end he was taken to be a prize pokemon. Saddened that he had to leave his trainer, he often stares off into space thinking about her. When ever anyone sees him like this, they often tell him to her his head out of the stormclouds

Name: Jin

Gender: none, prefers male however

Species: Bronzong

Age: 3000

Description: Jin, as a Bronzong, resembles a gigantic steel bell. A pair of large red round eyes gleam near the bottom of his bell-body, and two long 'arms' extend from the top. Strange markings are carved into his large body, some of the markings filled with a blue-green darker than the main body colour.

Personality: Jin is calm and stoic, never wavering in the face of danger. He doesn't often talk, but when he does, he does so by broadcasting his thoughts. He can choose who to 'talk' to this way, be it an entire group, or just one person. Like most Bronzong, Jin has the natural ability to summon sunshine and stormclouds at will. In battle, Jin is incredibly lucky, scoring critical hits at key moments and other such things. He attributes that skill to having the Favour of the Gods.

Bio: Not too much is known about the cryptic Jin, but he was part of the sleeping group. In the past, however, he belonged to several powerful trainers over his 3000 years of life. Each time his last trainer would die, he would go to sleep, only waking when he sensed one worthy of being his trainer.
