Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Five minute chocolate cake~

Ice tiger

Has claimed your vital regions.
lol I saw this when I typed in 'chocolate cake is gross' X3 To see how many things would pop-up, and look a recipe
It's very tasty, really, you should make it! :D
You can use normal flour, it doesn't matter~

^-^

I'm enjoying some right now. The flavor is a little bland, but I decided to put some chocolate icing on it and now it tastes great!

I think I've made this before, actually. It is pretty bland; it helps if you put some hot fudge + ice cream or something on it.

Can you just put chocolate pieces in? I don't seem to have cocoa powder right now.

Come to think of it...I don't even think I have chocolate...D:

SomethingAwful tried this a couple of months ago.
And either everyone here's standards are low as hell or SA's full of culinary elitists.

For the record I tried this last year and failed miserably. It was like eating a vat of rubber and mucus ):

^ XD
It actually gave me a stomach ache :o
But I just made it again, but didn't cook it X3 the batter is wonderful~

Very good, if somewhat bland. My mom agrees that it tastes like chocolate cake. Eating it as I type. Very good, if I do say so myself.

I used all-purpose flour myself. It was fine (other than the egg parts that weren't mixed in well and tasted like fried rice...).

I'll give it a go; a micro's the only cooking equipment I have at uni, so I appreciate any recipie that needs one.

I made a chocolate cake two days ago and it was awful; I blame the baking powder that expired in '97 X3

^ Yay baking powder that expired when I was like 3!!! X3
But our pantry beats that! We have stuff that expired in 1995! But for some reason I can't throw it away (Not allowed to) And I'm not allowed to give it away either :<

We have an epic collection of expired stuff tucked away in the back corners of our kitchen, it's crazy; it's mostly stuff we don't use much like baking powder, food colouring or ground nutmeg, but I know for a fact we have a tin of lobster bisque somewhere that expired in '94 X3

...I get food poisoning far less often than I should.

There should be a poll for people who've tried this.
[] this tasted terrible
[] this was pretty good

(we have stuff from aroun 1990 in our cupord, it's frightening (Did you know that paprica never expires?)
