• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

    Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

    Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Girls Stuck In Storm Drain Update Facebook Status

Oh god, I remember reading this AGES ago on the Ctrl-Alt-Del forums

As they were saying in there:

Even if all they could access was the internet, well, wouldn't it have been quicker just to YELL for help?

If i would fit down one i would explore a storm drain... then again, i would probably be smart enough to make sure i knew how to get back out again...

I want to go explore somewhere. I like exploging things and places. I'd go in the woods agian today, but it's going to rain.

I was 13 when I got my phone and the OLNY extra feature i got was text. I got it for "high school emergencies" (We had 2 high schools at the time, one foe 8-9 grade and one 10-12 grade)

On the positive side, at least we know that this sort of thing probably only happened once. At least up to now.

There are people crazy enough for anything in this world.

Why are people in this thread acting all judgemental because people got a mobile at a younger age than them? I don't understand what part of having a phone is so bad...

It still makes no sense. I almost fell on the floor laughing.

Girl #1: "Oh no! We got stuck in the storm drain! We need to get help!"

Girl #2: "Right! Let's get online with our phones and update our Facebook status!"

Girl #1: "But, since we have phones, don't you think that we should just call for help?"

Girl #2: "No! If we post on Facebook, not only can we get help, but we can tell everybody about that thing that happened at lunch today! And what happened when we were walking home! And how that...."

Girl #1: "Gee, great idea!"

This would be an interesting scenario. And that's just about how stupid it was when you compare it to what really happened. But seriously, Facebook?!?! o.O;
