• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

I'm going to take a random guess, one of the guys with over 60hrs?

I could never do that. I'd probably get bored after 24.

I second that guess and demand fabulous prizes.

Seriously, though, that's pretty awesome. I mean... you were provided with food (mmm, pizza), a comfy sofa, for the sole purpose of playing video games guilt-free for seventy-two hours straight (in theory) and raising money for charity by doing so? That sounds like a damned good deal to me.

Any restrictions on what you were allowed to play? Had I been taking part, I would have had a good stab at the full three days straight with pretty much any heap of games I had to hand (I'm easily amused like that), but sit me in front of a computer with the WoW client installed and you'd need a crowbar to prise me out of that chair even after the seventy second hour. Sad but true.

In short: sweeet. I am somewhat jealous.

The fabulous prize is that you are allowed to behold my beautiful visage whenever you desire. :B

Also, my secret weapon for staying up all 72 hours was in fact, WoW. I just didn't count on how comfortable that damned couch was going to feel after the 60th hour.

I did that once just for the sake of having the house to myself.

Nice one, g8tr. 65:30 is a good time. I think I'd last about 50 hours with coffee.

I could likely last between 25 hours and 30 hours if given coffee and a very scary game to play :D

Congrats, Feralig8tr!

I probably could've done a lot better if I had had an energy drink somewhere along the line. :V Oh well.
