2v2 Single Battle
Switch
DQ: Standard week
Damage cap: 49% (unless you'd rather something else)
Banned/restricted moves: OHKOs; cumulative 50% direct healing*
* as many healing moves allowed as needed to reach this cap
Arena: Mystic Locus
We battle in a mystical other dimension. Material is formed as needed for attacks and Pokemon; thus a water source for Surf, rocks for Rock Slide, etc. will appear out of the aether as needed. At the end of each round, a random non-Self-targeting move* will mysteriously form from the dimensional material and target one or both of the Pokemon battling.
* Therefore nothing along the lines of Acupressure, Howl, etc. Non-damaging attacks that target the enemy, like Swagger, can be called. (If I were reffing this, the easiest way I could think of doing this mechanic is to use a Metronome generator and reroll if it calls a Self-targeting move.)

Well, there was not much Silentpaw could do in her position. She was happily dreaming about a ball of yarn that never shrunk; one that she could chase indefinitely across the plain of her subconscious. She wasn’t going to wake up any time soon, and Bongo-Bongo decided to use this to his advantage. The effort of healing oneself is large, making the Purrloin actually tired, but healthy. Bongo-Bongo had been ordered to increase this exhaustion in a very evil way. His eyes began to glow a slightly opaque bubblegum tone, and he used his ghostly powers to probe his opponent’s mind. He saw a hazy image of the yarn ball, and Marcia herself, but then he used his “dream mouth” to devour the dream, he did not use this subconscious energy to restore his health, he used to make himself feel much more rested, and it worked quite well.
Now Silentpaw was slowly drifting towards wakefulness. She was now dreaming that she was in a maze of dark hallways like those in the back rooms of a Pokemon Center, and she was continuously walking forward, not turning for fear of the dark nothingness that was not lit by the small indescribable light source that made her actually able to see. Her feline night vision was eluding her, so she was scared. Bongo-Bongo on the other hand was feeling more and more ripe and ready to go. He grinned as he thought of how his poor, poor opponent was faring in her slow energy-sucking slumber. He once again illuminated his eyes, and then dove into the mind of Marcia, finding himself looking at the dark corridors of her nightmare. He quickly ingested this projection of the Purrloin’s subconscious, and immediately started to feel the lovely energy rushing back through him, readying even more for the conflict about to emerge.
With that last dream gone, Silentpaw slowly stirred and returned to reality. She opened her eyes and found herself looking about the slowly revolving Mystic Locus. She felt healthy again, no burn on her right flank. But she noticed almost right away that she could hardly move. Her limbs almost refused to giver her leverage, and she had to work excruciatingly hard not to cry out in the lack of support from her body. She felt like she could fall asleep once more, but this time just letting her body actually rest, not recover the health she had been using. She slowly began to calm down, realizing that her trainer had given her the opportunity to recover some of that lost energy. She wasn’t going to drift off again, but at least she could try and recover some of that lost energy.
Well her Duskull opponent wasn’t going to have any of that. He wasn’t going to let Marcia recover all that he had stolen, that was totally cheap! Luckily, his trainer had known exactly how to prepare for this situation, and had given Bongo-Bongo free rein to take advantage of this however he liked. He began to yawn, groan, sigh, check a proverbial watch, tap his tail (figuratively), look up at the sky hopefully, and all other ploys to make Marcia realize that she was most certainly not advancing the battle at all quickly. Soon Silentpaw began to get all twitchy, even with her lack if energy to do this with. Soon she managed to stand up, her limbs screaming, and hiss angrily at her infuriating opponent. Bongo-Bongo felt he had done his job then, and he began to calm down, still slightly repeating the actions when he felt it was necessary. The Mystic Locus now began to turn slightly green from a light suspended in the air. This light was gradually growing in size. With an almighty boom a wave of pure grass-type energy washed over the resting Silentpaw. She screamed with pain as the powerful attack hurt her limbs. Luckily she did not suffer the loss of Special Defense that she might have if she had been just a bit unluckier. All through the aether small little seedlings were produced, and they began to float around the battlers. As the round ended, Bongo-Bongo once again felt the pains of the toxins sweeping through his body

Ref’s Notes
-There are small seedlings floating around the arena
-This round was slightly short because of the lack of variety and interestingness
-Silentpaw’s Chill did not recover as much energy as possible, as it was interrupted by Taunt
-The Mystic Locus produced Seed Flare (which was awesome by the way)
-Gummy to order attacks next
