A large concrete circle that rests on the backs of thousands of decomposing bugs. Cheering swarms of Venipede and Weedle watch from the stands, cheering for the jousting opponents.

Other: The only Pokemon that may be used are bug-types.

Escavalier and Accelgor get a +1 in Attack to begin the battle.

Round 6 Begin!

Kabutan is determined not to go down without making it as annoying for Kid as possible. So to that end, he conjures up another glowing green shield, which flickers and shimmers in a manner most irritating to Kid, who was hoping to just get this over with. Unable to act, he instead decides to make sure his next attack - it's going to be a big one - will work. His eyes take on a bright green glow as he mentally scans the field for Kabutan's energy signature, finding and honing in on it to make sure his megaultracombo can't miss. The shield flickers and dies away, and Kid grins triumphantly.

NOW GO DOWN ALREADY! He screams as he begins cloaking himself in a glowing ball of alternating pink-and-orange energy. He lunges towards Kabutan far faster than the steelbug's eyes can resolve, and strikes with as much force as he possible can; the shockwave of the impact liquidizes more than a few of the maggots supporting the field, smashes several bones in the trainers' bodies, and causes the now-not-cheering spectators to cheer even less. A fraction of a second later, a huge explosion rings out, burning up just about everything in the vicinity, barring the referee (plus Reuniclus) who is safely encapsulated in a green bubble. When the smoke clears, Kabutan is nearly dead, and Kid is standing over his prone form, panting heavily and smiling victoriously.

The referee asks Reuniclus to lower its shield and hops neatly down onto the field, pulling two paychecks out of her pockets. She slips one into each trainer's pocket, recalls their Pokémon for them, and calls the league to pick them up for medical care; then she teleports away.

- There are maggot corpses littering the field.
- The cheering Venipede and Weedle are cheering no more.
- Karkat Vantas and Raptorsaurus have been pretty badly hurt by the Bide.
- The maggot corpses underneath the arena have been pretty much entirely liquidized by the shockwave.
- Just about everything in the area, including the trainers, have been burned and scorched.
- The referee is unharmed.

Prizes
Karkitty gets $8, I get $5, Raptorsaurus gets $3. Kid gets two experience, Kabutan gets one. This was really fun to ref, even if short. Good game, guys.
