• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Lucas vs. Whirlpool

Your only priority move is Protect, so you may as well take your defeat head-on. If somehow the first Fire Punch isses, then try to avoid them all while attacking with Rollout.

Rollout x3

3v3 single
Style: Set
DQ: 5 days (120 hours)
Damage Cap: 35%
Banned Moves: OHKOs, direct healing
Rules: Only basic pokemon. (Meaning none that don't evolve as well.)
Arena: A FIELD.
Yeah, it's a field. There's... grass. And hills. And... a stream in the middle. That's about it.

Round XVIII Start

Ferroseed stares at his foe for the last time. He tries to convince himself it's not his fault, it's because of that damn Gastly knowing freaking punching moves while not having arms - but he can't help but feel terribly ashamed for losing to the equivalent of a living fart. He gives a quick look at his trainer, and realizes both of them know what was going to happen. And Lucas seems okay with it.

As Wisp heavily crashes down on him in a blazing flare, the steel-type sighs and closes his eyes shut, and then nothing.

---

Wisp stares at his smoking opponent suspiciously - who know what trick he could pull off while he savors a not-so victory? But the red flash from Lucas' Heavy Ball confirms his first impression, and he smirks. This one went down.

Wait, we both ended up with a total of 6 exp. Shouldn't I only have 5 total, since his last pokémon was never knocked out? Wait, Lucky Egg. Never mind.

Just curious, what made you not choose the obvious fire/bug type for your last pokemon?
