Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Operation Aspirin

((So it's just there's quite a lot then. The siuation seems farmiliar))

Flames danced arround Russ's mouth. He prepared to leap out in defence of this group, should he be able to change anything.

Aeru snarled and charged at a Scyther, a Flamethrower searing its side. She wanted to howl in triumph at how easily it fell, letting her spit an Ember at it and continue on her fiery rampage. She avoided the humans - they weren't so weak to her Fire-type attacks, and a few Flamethrowers was enough to keep the Scyther at bay. Their scythes were nasty looking, and a wound from one would likely be quite painful.

She wasn't the best fighter; she wasn't used to huge brawls with humans and other Pokemon, and was unable to put her trust in total strangers. She didn't know any of them at all, and even the sight of another Houndoom leaping into the fray didn't help much. Catching sight of a human sneaking up on her while she tried to take down her third Scyther, she panicked. A howl tearing loose from her throat, she backed away from both her target and the human, fur bristling. Fire Blast - no, she couldn't waste her energy - maybe a lot of Embers? No, that would sap her strength, and firing them off quickly would weaken them as well... And if she closed in and tried to use her fangs, the Scyther would get her! This wasn't turning out well.

Russ chose to act. He launched a huge blast of fire at a human which was atempting to sneak up on a female Houndoom in the group.

Russ did, however, stay in cover. He didn't see any need to make himself more obvious than he already had.

Vemx watched as a blast of fire hit one of the humans. He took only a moment to wonder where it came from before jumping into the fray himself.

Vemx threw his body at a Scyther, pushing it a few inches. As soon as he fell off the bug-type's body, Vemx leaped back, dodging a scythe that had been about to slice him. Instead of retaliating by simply tackling the Scyther again, Vemx clothed his body in darkness and hid from sight. Giving the mantis only a second to wonder where its opponent had gone, Vemx threw himself at the Scyther again, hitting its upper body and toppling it over.

On top of his opponent, Vemx spared a few seconds to glance around himself and was soon forced to tackle another Scyther that was attempting to attack him.

Aeru blinked as a blast of fire overwhelmed the human that had been threatening her. Regaining her confidence, she growled at the Scyther and spat an Ember at it. Before it could react, she threw herself at it, fangs biting deep into one of its wings. Flames coating her jaws, she lunged again, tearing at iit until it fell limp. Backing away, she growled defiance, seeing the foes fall one by one.

Aria flew onto a Scyther, wings spread wide. She enjoyed Wing Attack, and used it again and again, dodging the Scyther's attempt at fighting back. Finally, it fell, but Aria had exhausted herself, and was forced to Roost in a tree.

Qua roared, a black orb forming in his mouth. Moments later it lunged toward most of the Scyther, exploding on contact with the ground.

"If Dark Pulse isn't enough, then this is!"

He opened his mouth wide. Crystallic energy seemed to gather in it, before his sharp teeth appeared to be perfectly coated in ice. He chomped down on the body of a Scyther.

Not so much revenge as a sense of duty and such here.
Evoli, it won't be too late to join anytime soon, so welcome to the RP. :D
Nope, the trainer doesn't necessarily die, just becomes another mental slave.

Jiro blasted off towards one of the Scyther. The group was beginning to thin out, as they were overwhelmed by the unexpectedly large force here. Unfortunately, their fate meant they wouldn't surrender without the psychic link being severed, so every fight would be a fight to the death. Nope, the psychic species most definitely are not a savoury bunch., Jiro thought as he worked up a rhythm bashing one target, then bouncing off to the next. After he caught one human in the jaw at a breakneck, literally, pace, he stopped and looked around. Everyone did their own thing, it worked reasonably well. The humans seemed to be all dead or dying. He got back into the fray, catching a Scyther's fury cutter, but it bounced off for the most part, leaving a small indentation. The only advantage he could see of this form would be not really being dark, and thusly not being weak to the typical tactics employed by the psychics. He fought back with payback, smacking the Scyther's torso in retaliation. There were only a few left, he noted.

Russ launched another blast of flame from his hiding place, catching a number of the remaining Scyther in flight. At least one dropped to the floor.

Good

"This should finish you off."

There were three Scyther in front of Qua. He grunted, and summoned up a sharp stone. With it he stabbed his three enemies, before throwing it sideways at them so that it scraped the weak part of their torsos.

Maraxus dodged the Scyther's attacks, slowly losing ground. The Scyther was much quicker, but at least he was quick enough. The Scyther began to lose balance, and stopped for just a second. Maraxus attacked with a Night Shade, following up with a Drakn Pulse. But still, the Scyther was able to leap up. It charged him, and he did the dumbest thing ever. He tried to use a move he didn't even know. The Sucker Punch was going well, and hit the Scyther with devastating force. Maraxus was surprised at his success, but doubted it would happen again. The Scyther scrambled to his feet, and Maraxus took this brief opprotunity to use Night Shade again, this time on a human. The human seemed to freeze for a second, then roll over in pain. Maraxus walked over to him, and stared down at him pitifully. He put the human out of his misery with a Dark Pulse, although he didn't enjoy it. Humans couldn't be all bad. After all, they were controlled by phsychics. His thoughts were interupted by the Scyther, who tackled him. Another approached, and Maraxus began to formulate a battle plan to win.

Russ launched a furthur blast of fire, which smashed into two more Scyther and sent them crashing into the Earth.

Deciding that his position was now rather obvious, Russ moved sidways throught the bushes to avoid detection

Aria finished resting, and clawed at an already-weakened Scyther with Night Slash. It hit her with Fury Cutter, and she stumbled backward, but managed to regain her balance and used Astonish. The Scyther jumped, blocking itself momentarily. Aria used this chance for a special combo: Wing Attack, to make it drop its scythes, then Night Slash to its neck. The Scyther fell over as Aria soared into the trees once again.

Jiro stopped again and looked around. He watched as the Honchkrow finished off the last Scyther. He didn't see anymore, and he didn't hear anymore. "Well I suppose that's over. Back to the meeting spot, please.", he told everyone as he sped back into the woods.

((OOC: Hang on a second... I have to rewind a little...))

Maraxus jumped at one Scyther suddenly, and rammed him into a tree. He quickly climbed onto it's shoulders, and kicked it in the back of the head. He took hold of a scyth, and sliced at the other Scyther, who began to lose ground. It tripped on a stone, and Maraxus took a leap at him, a Dark Pulse firing at it. Seconds later, the last of the Scyther had been finished off, and the team was called back. So, Maraxus walked back to Jiro, and stared at a rock absentmindedly.

((OOC: @Mewtwo: Well, we were meeting, and then a squad, meant to exterminate us appeared, and we just finished them off, and are now continueing the meeting!:3))

((I dunno.))

Qua nodded and turned around, romping behind Jiro. He glanced back at the swarm of dead Scyther.

"Glad you're gone," he muttered.

Enter as you please.

"That's... life. At least, it is now...", he replied, then brightened up a bit, "Yes good job out there. I think everyone here is going to do just fine.". He didn't see anything else after the dark types, so he relaxed, not that that actually meant much. He hopped back onto the tree branch and announced, "Good work out there, everyone. Now, if you'll please gather around and introduce yourself. Just your name is fine, if you're the silent type. Then, I can explain our first task today."
