A minor subset of the population, perhaps, but I certainly don't agree that most of it considers it acceptable. Most people's reaction to seeing multiple exclamation marks is something along the lines of "Ah. This person is twelve years old and/or knows little of how to write".

B: According to the book Perfect Punctuation, Steven Curtis says that "the use of multiple exclamation marks (It was big! It was huge!! It was e-nor-mous!!!) should be kept for very informal or comic writing". As such, multiple exclamation marks are widely accepted, just not taken seriously.

C: Why is a grass type holding an item that strengthens one of the types its weak to? Crazy... I must fix this; I take the Charcoal.
