• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open PMD: The Aijou Glitch

Skaldia snorted. "I'm Skaldia." she said curtly. "Not that I think we'll meet again... I don't like sticking around little babies." She was not the motherly type, or even wont to helping out an orphaned little one. She had to survive on her own - why should the laws of nature be bent for a pair of pleading eyes? Of course, being tended by a human was very different, but nearly all Pokemon were wild at one point or another in their lives.

((I don't know where Lance is, but I want to make this topic interesting.))

Snowclaw listened to Pokemon nearby. There was a Gallade, she was sure, but that was all she could see. After hearing his statement [or question, she wasn't listening too closely], the Skorupi crept out of the bracken, asking, "Do you know where I can find these Pokemon? Or are they all over the place..." Her blue eyes were slightly widened as she nervously toyed with the Snow Crystal on her head.

"Huh?" Lance looked at the Skorupi. Then he looked back at the Frosslass and Shedinja, who hadn't answered him yet.

"I don't know. I'm assuming that they're just Pokemon like us that want to escape and found others like them and decided to figure out how to escape together." He wanted to discuss it with someone, since the Skorupi obviouly shared his wish to leave, but in front of the two Pokemon who wished to stay, he didn't want to risk it. "I'm Lance, by the way."

((Midnight, your OCs were talking to Lance on page 2, and I answered you.))

((Darksong, I put Lance in some forest.))

"Skaldia..." Hedrahn repeated, "You leaving? Good. You scary. And I not a baby," he huffed. Even if he was young, he did not appreciate being called a baby. He had a name and he'd prefer if everyone used it.

((Ah. That's where Snowclaw was next to xD))

Snowclaw nodded. She replied, "My name is Snowclaw, master of Tough Contests." She heightened herself slightly, but backed up slightly. "I need to look around and get an idea of what this place is like." Suddenly, she scuttled like a crab into the undergrowth towards wet ground.

Amos chuckled. The Torchic was quite cute, but he too never really had much patience towards young Pokemon, especially those who just arrived in Aijou and worried about how to get back. Hopefully Hedrahn wouldn't come across Zemhal during his travels.

-=-=-=-=-

Zemhal perched himself on a large tree. The tree was covered in moss and smelled like wet bark. The ground around the tree was slightly wet as well, showing the obvious signs of there having been a rainstorm.

After a few moments, he began to hear voices in the distance. He began to figure out that they were talking about the Escapees. He spread his wings and flew off of the branch once more, and flew towards the voices. Within moments he found a Skorupi, Gallade, Shedinja, and Froslass gathered together. He landed on a branch a few feet away from their group. The branch was a couple feet off the ground.

"What do you think the escapees are?" he said loudly to make sure they knew of his presence, "Do you think that they travel together like a pack? They're often scattered about, working in seperate groups. Or, they're entirely set off from others, working independently. If you want to escape, just work on you're own. It's much simpler."

"Yes, I believe there are some around the lake. There's a Skorupi, a Psyduck, and some others." She wondered if the Lucario wanted to escape like she did. Should she ask?
No, he might take it the wrong way.

"Ah. It's just that I hadn't seen any others yet; I just arrived a few minutes ago."

Was it alright for him to be telling this Flygon all these things? And did it want to escape too?

"Ah." To heck with it; she might as well tell him her intentions.
"Well, I was wondering..."
This is it!
"I'm trying to escape... here. Are you?"

Master of Tough Contests…well, you can't say she doesn't take pride in her accomplishments. Snowclaw disappeared, quickly replaced by a voice from above. He, too, questioned the nature of the escapees.

Lance decided it was time to leave the two ghost Pokemon before they started asking dangerous questions, obviously not favoring the escapees. "I don't really know," Lance said to the Noctowl above, "Different things work for different Pokemon. Perhaps some aren't as partial to independance."

Running out of things to say, he left towards the nearby lake, where many other Pokemon were socializing. He wasn't really sure what he was doing, whether or not he wanted to talk to the other Pokemon. He decided to stroll around the lake and eavesdrop, to see if he could find any other Pokemon who wished to leave.

((Anyone want to meet an elderly Sableye?))

Khalos finished the last of the crystal, wiped his hands on the grass, and picked up his cane. Walking slowly into the forest, Khalos arrived at a small stream. Dipping his clawed hands into the water, the old Sableye began to scrub his arms and shine the ruby on his chest.

Lucky pricked his ears as Episky said it was trying to escape too.

"Yeah, I guess. I don't want to return to my trainer, awful as he was, but I'd like out of here."

((PICK ME PICK ME :D))

Zemhal rolled his eyes, and took off from the branch. The air was humid, as if a rainstorm was once more to be expected. The sky was filled with clouds, but they weren't incredibly dark, only slightly grey.

He looked down below him for food. He saw no signs of life, well at least edible life. Soon, he began to stray into an area that was entirely covered in fog. Not wishing to search around much longer, he turned around. After a few minutes, he perched himself on a tree, above where a Sableye was residing.

((Me too! =D Eve needs to see more action.))

Another Noctowl swooped down and landed near the river, Eve noted. A Sableye with a cane stood by the river - perhaps he was on the elderly side. He migt make for some worthwhile conversation. And the other Noctowl drew her in; others of her species had been scarce while traveling with her trainer.

Eve swooped down happily over the river, angled back upwards, landed on a branch close to the other two Pokemon, and waited to see if one would speak.

((Sorry, Eve isn't much of a conversation starter.))

"Hm. Well it was nice meeting you Skaladia." Psyco said to the Aerodactyl, munching on a berry. Hey, um, was it Hedrahn? Do you want to come with me to the Lake? There are some warm spots to go to sleep, and a lot of berry trees." He said to the Little Torchic. He may have been opposed to what Hedrahn wanted, but the Torchic was very young and needed help to survive.

"Lake..? That place with water, yes? I like water. We go there." Hedrahn said, then nodded. He was kind of thirsty and food was always good. He wasn't sleepy yet, but he would probably take a nap after eating.

"I do, though. I was always battling, and I like to battle. But there isn't much for me here..." Here. Where was here? Maybe the Lucario would know.
"Would you happen to know what this... place is?" She had been in Aijou for a long time, but she didn't even know its name.

"Quite frankly, I don't. All I know is that I was rotting in the PC box one minute, and the next, here." Lucky was beginning to trust this Flygon. She had the same goal as him, get outta here, but then she wanted back to her trainer and Lucky...

Well, he wanted Lily back.

"That's sad. I'm sure my trainer liked me. I was only in the PC Box because we were going to Sinnoh to train." She had really missed Xhan. He was the only family she'd ever known... She suddenly flicked her head around. Realizing it was just the wind, she turned to face Lucky again.

((By the way, this Xhan has nothing to do with Black Yoshi 99. He doesn't have a Flygon. In case you were going to ask.))
