• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open PMD~ The time Paradox

(Apparently, most of us are just in some place called "The Room". Im confuzzled too.)

(Aura has become a soul that no one but dusknoir can see. Dementia can sense her, but she cant see her. Yes, everyone is in a room. Oh, and Aura has the ability to stop time. =P)

Aura walked around, looking as invisible as a Kecleon to the others. She was bored out of her mind. She was depserate to talk to everyone. Wait, shouldn't Aura be living now? Dusknoir's defeated, Young aura met young aqua, so what now? She should be living now!

Aura felt...her body! She felt materiallizing from a soul to a body. She started to see multiple images at once, until she started to see with her own eyes. Oh, how clear her vision was!

She realized she materiallized right infrom of everyone. Trying to be even slightly funny, she said, "Hey sexy Pokemon!" (XD)

Aqua looked up. "Aura!" she screamed,"How did you get back?" But honestly, she didnt care. She was just happy Aura was back.

Dementia stood quickly, slowly walking in front of Aura.
Unsure if she was real, she softly slid her across her forehead, her eyes stern.
"...You've decided to return, it seems." she said passively, resting her arm back by her side. "...And yet...I sense you know more than you tell."
"...My Dusknoir...What is his status?"

Dementia, realizing what she had just revealed, quickly turned her back on the group, her eyes forcefully closed. Her checks were flushed bright pink, and her fists were balled up tightly. "I didn't say that," she hissed, "I said 'the.' Completely different word."
But there was no faking it; no taking back of what she said. Her secret was spilled all over the room now. She wouldn't be surprised if they accused her of helping him.

"Its okay Dementia," reasurred Crystal. Just by reading her face she knew what she was thinking.

Spunky said nothing, but raised her eyebrow.

(Wait, so if the other stuff didn't happen, Silver is a poliwhirl.
I'm not annoyed, i'm actually knid of happy.)

And Dementia looked back at her with sad eyes. "No, it's not," she stated sorrowfully, small beads of tears at her eyes, "It never was. Ever since we were little everyone was ridiculing me for being with a Dusknoir, of all Pokemon. I didn't stay with other Kirlias or Abras or Gothitelles. I stayed with him. And I fell for him as soon as we both evolved for the last time."
"Only to be betrayed and humiliated!!" She screamed, once again angry with the Ghost. It was all his fault. But she always denied it before now.

"And...And then he justs....he tried to kill me!" Dementia screamed, digging her hands in her hair. "After everything I did!! Do I mean absolutely nothing to him?!"
She had fallen back to her knees, tears streaming down her pale face. She didn't attempt to wipe them away, though; she had held this back for FAR too long.
Her hand ran across the tears in her dress. And then the dent in her chest.
She would have to live with the memory of him forever, apparently.

A look not previously seen came over Spunky's face.
She put her hand on Dementia to comfort her and looked up at her with somehow now blue eyes.
"You're alive. That counts for something, doesn't it?"

Dementia rose her head to the Raichu.
"...To...To some extent. But...I'm living without the one that gave me a reason to carry on. He was replaced with...that horrid monster."
She looked back at her dress, running her hand across it again and again. It was still so very soft despite the damage it had endured. But why was that?
Was this what Spunky had been saying? Despite the tears, you're still the same?

Spunky smiled at the look of realization on Dementia's face and turned her head to look at Silver, but he had fallen asleep.
She sighed, and rolled her now reddened eyes.

Dementia then realized what must be done.
She needed to find out the pure, wholly truth about Dusknoir, even if it would cost her life.
Dementia quit her sobbing.
She stood back up, straight and tall as she wiped away her tears, her red eyes flaring. "Get him up," she said simply, looking at Sounky while pointing at Silver. "We're getting out if this room whether you like it or not."

"Atta girl."
Spunky said, looking at Dementia proudly.
After a moment she turned to Silver to wake him up.

"Huh? I didn't do it."
He said, sleepily.
Spunky said nothing.

Then Dar came in "What do you mean Dement-" he stopped abruptly. He looked at Crystal, whos form started to flicker. "Crystal whats going on?" asked Dar.
"I dont know," admitted Crystal. Then Dar remembered something. "Oh no," he said,"Crystal do you remember when you used Destiny Bond on Dusknoir?"
"Um, yeah," replied Crystal.
"I think its still active." Crystal's form flickered again.

Dementia quickly whipped around to Crystal. "You didn't," she cried sternly, her eyes angry. "I know you did not do that to yourself. How...Why?! If you knew we would beat him?! How irrational is that?!"
She exhaled deeply to calm down and numbers "Sorry about that" to Crystal. She then turned back to the door knob. Locked.
"...Sensorium."
Her eyes faded into a deep sky blue as her body had a yellow aura surround it. She had used Psychic to open the door, motioning for the others to use moves on it to help her open it.

"Right!"
Said Spunky, using iron tail.
Not the best idea, for the knob broke off.
"Aww, what?"

"Oh, great.."
Said silver.

Crystal flickered again. Aqua tried to mend the door, but it doesnt have anything to do with water. Then Dar thought of something. "Dark World!" he screamed. When they teleported there, Dar told them his plan. "I have an idea," he said, which you could clearly tell,"Maybe since we can move freely in here, maybe when we head back we'll be in a different spot!"
He waited for their opinions.
