• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Pokemon Crossing

Violet flitted her wings softly as she awoke. It was a rather slow morning, but she could get hyper easily, so she wanted to save her energy until then. She had stayed up early riding on the bus last night, and she had accidentally slept late.
She clamped the light-pull-thingy between her stingers and yanked it down. The small flower shop lit up, revealing the lines of all colors of flowers from red to blue that were hiding in the night's shadows. She buzzed her wings and stood at the counter at the front, hoping a customer would come soon.

((I need to think of a way you get her picture. I'll tell you when I find it, okay?))

As the door opened, Mark jumped onto the steps and climbed up. Sitting five seats back on the right, he pulled out a book entitled Eager and, adjusting his glasses, started to read.

A purple cat-like creature stepped out of her house, wind blowing though the tuffs of fur underneath her long ears. She flicked her forked tail as she surveyed the environment around her with purple eyes. The creature was known was Espeon and this individual was known as Espera.

She was unusual for her species in three ways. First: she could speak. And not your usual "Espeon, esp!" either. I'm talking about sentences here. Second: she was standing completely on her hind legs. You could tell by the way she moved her forelegs that she should be four-legged but she was bipedal none the less. Third: She was wearing a shirt. It was a a shirt tye-died purple and for whatever reason she did not have a pair of pants to complete the outfit.

Espera stretched out and whipped out a fishing pole. Walking down to the river, she flicked the hook into the water and waited for a bite. "What a wonderful day, eff..." she muttered.

Jax stepped on as well.

"Why was I not informed of the Pokemon?" Jax asked.

"You're going to Heartville, right?" Closer Side asked.

"Omigosh! It talked!" Jax screamed, hiding behind a dirty old couch that seemed to have ranch dressing spilled all over it.

"Hiiiiiiii!" the Minun, Record said, "Welcome to my couchy hideout."

Jax tried to escape, but she was stuck behind the couch.

"HELP! SOMEONE GET ME OUTTA HERE!" Jax cried.

Snoring could be heard from just outside the window.

It became quieter, and then a snort came from inside. Moving could be heard.

Python's feet thumped onto the ground. He looked at his odd clock and turned the alarm off. "Perfect timing," he grumbled, and marched out the door. He stood and looked at the Beedrill's flower shop. It was warmly lit up as if welcoming a new atmosphere. Python had always admired it, and the way flowers made the town warmer. He sighed and continued on, shovel in hand.

Violet saw a Pokemon passing by. She waved, hoping for him to notice, but the Granbull continued on. Quickly, she hung a sign that read "OUT; PLEASE RING LOUD BELL FOR ASSISTANCE", and hurried out of the store with, ironically, a bug net. However, she planned not to use it; instead, she would recycle it. She flew towards the town hall as softly as she could, dropped it in the bin, and returned slowly to her shop, taking the sign off and standing at the front counter.

With a loud snort, Benny woke up, smacking his lips contentedly. He opened his eyes and rolled out of bed, hitting the floor with a crash and blearily standing up before walking over to the fridge next to the bed and taking out a handful of mostly-melted chocolate cake. He left the house and ate the cake messily as he walked, not going anywhere in particular but following the wonderful scent of what seemed to be fresh flowers.

Mark put his book away and looked out the window. He had already bought a house, and had preordered some furniture that was he was supposed to pick up at the bus stop. Mark wondered what the town would be like, and hoped that there would be nice people there.

((Can I signup one more character? There's no room against it. If not, I'd like to remove my previous character. Which I will do anyways. This is a replacement. I wanna be a Pokemon now.

(You can have more than one...and we need an ACWW personality: Normal, peppy, Cranky, Snooty, or Lazy)

Jax somehow got out from behind the couch and moved into a seat closer to Mark.

(("Stern" isn't a personality. We said before, the personalities for female characters are Normal, Peppy, and Snooty. Look up Peppy and Snooty in the dictionary if you don't know what they are. Normal is mostly just calm.))

Violet began to buzz her wings, advertising her shop.

Python heard buzzing and looked back at the shop. Violet was hovering outside, and she was acting rather convincing, so he stomped into the shop and rested his arm on the counter.

"Got anything for breeding combos of blue and purple pansies?"

Jimmy walked out of his house. He had been asleep. She pulled out a fishing rod and began to fish in a lake.

The bus made a sudden stop. They were here.

"You have heard, hybrids cannot breed, hmmm? But you can create them... would you like some white and red pansies? White and white make blue, red and red make purple, hmmm?" Violet's short speech was very informative, she thought.

"I was thinking you would give me the basic seeds for those combinations," said Python. "Grr-RAAAAH? How 'bout that, eh? Then I'll finally win the flower fest when it comes around..."

"Oh, all right!" Violet hummed. "How about four of each, hmmm?" She asked as she grabbed the requested seeds. "That would be... hmmm, 400 Bells..."

"Four of each color works," said Python, thinking, "if I water and wait. That sounds good. How about this, grr-RAAAAH?"

He pulled out a sack of coins from his pocket and placed it on the counter.
