The story goes as such...

A new, tropical island has surfaced just off the coast of the Kanto reigon. Various Pokemon drifted across to the island, word of mouth spread, and eventually several colonies were formed. Human advancement has been repelled thus far by a small defending army, but no guarantees as to the future. The island developed a small rescue team base, shops and barter stations, and was OK for a while. The barter system is a little lax, but no one knows how to crack down on frauds.

HOWEVER! Two Pokemon, a Ludicolo and a Shiftry, have gained enough experience at dealing with these matters to want to have a fair, democratic government. They passed around the idea (it's a small island) and the Pokemon were mostly all for it. I mean, much simpler than humans. Not many Pokemon were adults, so few wanted to run. No complex senatorial narrow-downs. And so, the campaign trail was set...

Basically, I was bored in school (having just finished a test), doodled some campaign trail sketches of Lotad, and the idea fell into place. Yeah. And one of my friends is a fellow TCoDer, so thor165 will be running against me.

Anyway, THE RULES.
1. Obviously, no character control, godmodding, spamming uselessly, etc.
2. Ludicolo and Shiftry (me and thor165) reserve the right to boot any campaign member that is not contributing to the trail. Post often!
3. Although this kinda goes without saying, your character does not know what the other party is saying. Policy chats between prez and VP are not public.
4. Put the word deception in your post to show that you've read the rules.

Party: Voter, leader of the rescue team "Team Night Slash"
Position:Supports the Water Stone party
Personality: Sweet, yet a bit spicy at times. She loves her rescue team, and her 3partners are like her sisters. She is very hyper when given something a bit too sweet, but is normally trying to contain it. Sometimes she grabs a Pecha Berry and throws it at her partners. She's very quick, though, so don't chase her unless you're as quick as 2 Rapidash.
Bio: She had unknowingly ended up on the island, while being seperated from her family. She soon adapted without them though, ever since she formed a rescue team with Kari, Dasia, and Hannah, a Houndoom, Absol, and Mightyena. She missses them ocasionally, though.
Other: She's taller than normal Umbreon, has yellow rings and pink fur, and a matching earring and locket thing that are peppermint colored. She also has bangs. ((Ah, yes. Deception~))

Species: Spheal (Current Spheal Obession. Partly because I loved the Spheal on Zephyrous Castform's avatar :D Yeah....)

Position: Bounces around and breakdances to spread the love for the Water Stone Party.
Personality: Look at avatar. Yeah, that's him. Crazy and dance-obsessed.
Bio: Oo was brought to the island for his love of breakdancing, which his previous neighbor disliked. So the neighbor made a fake ad saying that there was a breakdancing school on this island that he got accepted into. The island was so far away, Oo spent all his money on the plane ticket to get here. However, he noticed it was a scam when he saw no dance studio on the island. Nevertheless, he has opened up a dance studio of his on on the island. However, it has not been very successful so far, as he has only had one student, a Lotad, who inspired him to join the Water Stone Party. And because he thought Water Stones were shinier than Leaf Stones. And Oo likes shiny. Yup.
Other: Oo has a keen eyesight and saw that the word deception in your profile was necessary to join.

Personality: Very quiet, but she can be loud. She is nice and sweet, she may be bitter.
Bio: No one knows were she came from. She magicly appeared when she was a Cherubi, but they found out her name and they helped her live.
Other: The pink on her body and petals are blue, also the circles on her head are a dark blue. She can say the word deception very well.

Personality: Koro is very brave and adventurous. He likes to explore and discover new things. He can be very impatient and hasty at times, though.
Bio: He heard about this new island, so he made a journey there. He decided he liked it there, so he's been living there ever since.
Other: Koro wears a necklace with a brown and green rock on it around his neck that he found one day while he was exploring.

Personality: Stubborn and cynical, ready to criticize anything and everything. He doesn't seem to have a definite political stand, instead rebuffing and questioning both parties policies in his political commentary column in the newspaper and whenever he interviews people.
Bio: Hatched on the island.
Other: Any party deception leaked out immediately gets seized upon by him.

I figure we need somebody like this. :P
If there aren't any free newspapers, then I'll make a different character.

What do you mean NPCs?

And seeing as people can visit your dance studios and this is a free-range RP, go ahead and sum up your services.
 
Alright. NPCs are Non Player Characters, BTW. Basically people anyone could control.
