Open Presidency Gone Wrong

Name: Niko (Murrmurr, you know who I am ;))
Species: Sceptile
Position: I am no master of deception. Leaf stone party all the way!

Party: voter, Shop keeper: odd inventions and junk. Can make almost anything out of junk. Bard, likes telling stories of past times off the island. loves young 'uns, as he calls them. part-time lifeguard.

Personality: Clever, and very deceptive. Extremely good at haggling for low prices. because of his unusual size, usually gets what he wants. Athletic, but also intelligent.
Very competitive. loves to swim, despite being a grass type.

Bio: When Niko was a treeko, he had a natural love of water. He played with his two best friends, a taillow and a surskit. Niko got to the island because of his incredible swimming ability.

@o_O: I know what NPC means, but there are no NPCs in the story. If by NPC you mean controlling two characters, then not as of now.
 
Name: Tigerstar
Species: Scyther
Party: Leader Rescue Team Ninja, also owns a battle shop called "Tigerstar's Combat Goods", which sells things like bows and other things that help when fighting.
Position: None. He doesn't vote for any candidate.
Personality: Serious, and doesn't really care about anybody but Aoi, his Croagunk trainee for Team Ninja. Is intent on being the most powerful Pokemon on the island (physically, of course), and will allow Aoi to share some of that power if she helps him.
Bio: Tigerstar was migrating with his swarm when a group of Staraptor attacked. Greatly outnumbered, the Scyther clan lost the battle against the Staraptor flock. Tigerstar fled, flying over the island. That was when he was struck by a Staraptor that had been silently following him, keeping track of its prey with great deception. Tigerstar fell... fell down to the very ground in the forest and, thinking that he was dead, the Staraptor flew away. He didn't wake up for quite a while; two days is what he thought. The Scyther then started his own solo rescue team, failing to get any members and ignoring the presidential debate that was going on at the time. He still lives in the cave he dug in the side of a hill.
Then, half a year later, after long months of solo missions, he encountered Aoi, targeting her as prey. He placed a scythe to her neck until she pleaded for him to let her go. Refusing, Tigerstar explained about his want for power. Aoi promised that she would help him get power if he took her in as his student, since she just wanted to prove herself. Tigerstar accepted, taking her in.

Name: Aoi
Species: Croagunk
Party: Member of Rescue Team Ninja, also worker at Tigerstar's Combat Goods.
Position: Same as Tigerstar; does not vote for anyone.
Personality: Just wants to be a good member of her rescue team, and is a great deal more caring than Tigerstar. She is loyal to her sensei, treating him as if he were her father. Will never forget anything friendly that he has done to her, and feels as if nothing she did would ever let her repay her sensei.
Bio: Aoi hatched on the island, and doesn't remember much before she met Tigerstar. After an event where he almost killed her, she began training with him, each of them getting what they wanted. Aoi accepted the fact that Tigerstar would make her help him get power, and in return, Aoi would get the power she deserved.
Other: deception.
 
MurrMurr, is it okay if Dan is Shiftry's right-hand man? Or should that be decided by Thor165?

Tigerstar accepted, however. Aoi can wait until this RP actually starts, which requires two things:

1. thor165 to actually post.
2. You people to get with the non voter positions!

Well, if no one joins my team, may I put descriptions of them, and control them?As in, I know you said no more than one, but COME ON!!

Species: Eevee
Party: Voter
Position: Can Aquana be in Masquerade's team, if it's okay with Mewtwo?
Personality: Aquana may not seem very strong, but she is a fierce fighter and loves water.
Aquana is attracted to male feline, lupine and canine Pokémon.
Bio: When Aquana was an Eevee, she was owned by a sailor who always was on sea, that's why she was named Aquana, as he hoped she would evolve into a Vaporeon.

One day, when Aquana and Brew (her owner) was at sea, there was a storm, and Aquana fell over board. She hadn't learned how to swim yet, so she sunk to the bottom, where she fainted.

(Is it okay that I continue with this when we begin? She will survive, trust me.)
Other: Deception. Her eye has a slight pink in it.

Description? Okay. By the way, how does money work in this? I mean, is it like real world dollars or Pokedollars?
Crazy Stuff!! (Never said Onna was entirely... er... sane.. ^^)

Sells TMs, scarves, (Mystery Dungeon type, such as Stamina band, Pecha scarf, ect.) and food. Her stuffed animals aren't for sale, but sometimes she gives them to people for no apparent reason.

Is that okay, or should I put prices and stuff?

Bio: Er...I'll think of something later.

Oh, I guess I should put what kind of store Koro owns...
His store is like Xatu's locksmith store in PMD2. He'll unlock treasure chests you find for 200 Poke. (I'm assuming we're using Poke) He also sells special hold items and evolutionary stones he's found while exploring.

Wait... so it works like real world dollars? Because in the games, everything costs at least a few hundred Pokedollars. Probably a stupid question, I know. :sweatdrop:

Sure! Anyone can be in! Maybe there should be a slight crack in the ear or something to fit, eh, the Mewtwo style! XD

And further in the story, we could find a Water Stone (though Umbreon would fit better!) so you can efolve, then the crack in in the fin XP
