• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Revolt

We are beginning. I will allow more people to join if they wish, but they will have to meet up later in the story.

Mark looked around main street in Lilycove. He was looking for 243 Main Street, according to the letter. He continued to walk down the street. At last, he arrived at 242 Main Street. He smiled and went by the alley seperating the two houses, and looked at the number above the house's door.

244 Main Street.

Mark looked back at the other house, confused. The other house had 242 on it, as he thought. He looked back at 244. He turned to the alley between the houses. He slapped his head. Of course! 243 was the alley.

Sure enough, as soon as he entered the alley he saw the number 243 etched into the ground. He rolled his eyes.

Very discreet, he thought. He looked at the end of the alley and saw a bulkhead entry way. He walked towards it.

Xigbar scratched his head. "I forgot where Main Street is."

Well I think I found it. Came Xhan's voice. Xigbar jumped.

"Could you at least not be so sneaky?" Xigbar asked, irritated.

It's only one street over, numbskull. Xhan replied.

"Well, you don't have to be so rude." Xigbar walked to the next street over, slightly embarassed that he had been searching for hours, planning on being early, and when he was giving up, his Pokemon found it shortly. He walked down the street, searching for the adress. Finally, he found 244. He walked to the next house, and saw 242. He looked across the street. Sometimes the numbers would zigzag through the street. But he didn't see it. He sat down on the sidewalk, sighing.

Get up. I found it. Xhan slapped Xigbar on the back of his head lightly. When Xigbar looked Xhan was pointing to an alley.

"You're going in your Pokeball." Xigbar returned Xhan, and looked down the alley Xhan had poited to to. He could see someone walking to an entrance or something at the back of the alley. Xigbar scrambled up, and hastily ran into the alley.

Justin took out the letter that he found from his pocket

"Be at 223 main street by 3:00" It read. "Where is that place?"

Said Justin, looking around. "Aha! two twenty... Four? But I just passed two twenty three." Said Justin.

Justin looked around and saw a door in an alley that said 223 on it and entered.

"I bet if this place was fixed up it would look great!" He said to himself .

Justin walked down the old wooden stairs. Each step he took the stairs made a terrible squeeking noise. As he walked he saw a dark figure at the bottom the the steps

"Hello, are you the one who sent this letter? Because it wasn't addressed to me but I found it on the ground!" Said Justin cheerfuly

Gilbert looked up. There were two houses. One of them boasted the house number 242. The other, 244. The little note said 243. In between the houses, however, was an alleyway. There was no other way to go, so he headed down the alleyway. He'd probably seen this before but thought nothing of it. There were 2 figures in the alleyway. Gilbert followed them.

Sasha pulled her gloves nervously, then readjusted her glasses with her index finger. Lust had perched herself on Sasha’s right shoulder, whereas all the other Pokemon in her pack were in their Pokeballs. She had never really liked using Pokeballs, since it confined her Pokemon in a small area. Sasha looked at each number carefully. “221....222...224?” she asked in surprise. “I must be blind!” She shook her head, not understanding that the alley in between the two houses was 223.

“Blind~ Blind~,” Lust echoed. Suddenly, Sasha heard voices coming from the alley. “This... is the way?” She glanced at the ground to see three numbers carved into it: 223. Hesitating for a moment, she finally decided to walk down the alley. Since there were other voices, she assumed that there were more people who got the same letter as she did. The only thing that bothered her was that she didn’t do so well in crowds.

“Be calm, Sasha. Be calm,” she murmured, attempting to make the anxious feeling she had go away.

Mila glanced skeptically at the little alleyway. "That's the meeting place?" she whispered.
"Probably wanted somewhere discreet," replied Claw.
"Or they're just paranoid and think that we'll get bombed any second now," joked Poompa.
"That's not funny."
"Nothing is ever funny to you, Bone. You need to lighten up a little."
"You need to get serious."
"You need to learn to relax every once in a while."
"You need to learn that life isn't all fun and games."
"You both need to learn to stop fighting," interrupted Steel.
Bone sighed through her nose, and went down the alleyway, closely followed by Sandstorm, then Claw, Steel, Grime, and finally Poompa, who strode alongside Mila.

(You just had to start when I finally decided to join. XD *sulks and pulls up Legend's Rage's character sheet* Muahaha >:D)

Name: Tala
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Bio: Tala was born to two competitive trainers who insisted that she become one too, and figure out how to stop these strange accidents. Believing that she would be a miracle worker, they overrode her protests and forced her to train her Pokemon despite her obvious reluctance. She finally used the accidents as an excuse and left to "investigate", planning to settle in Blackthorn City and live on her own, until a letter carried by Noctowl arrived, informing her of a secret meeting.
Personality: Tala is reserved, stubborn and keeps others at bay because of her strange ideas. She often prefers the company of Pokemon to humans, and oftens is rude and sarcastic to drive people away when she doesn't want to talk. She has a very, very strict view on justice, and is also extremely stubborn on said view. She dislikes the idea of battling, but due to her parents forcing her into it, her Pokemon are actually quite powerful. She's very wary of everyone she meets, and doesn't usually trust someone for a long time. She holds very long grudges.
Appearance: Tala is of average height, with brown hair cut off sharply at her chin. She has green eyes, usually narrowed in suspicion, and is rather slim. She doesn't go out of her way to look nice; her clothes are usually muddy, tattered or both, and she never does anything to enhance her appearance. Once forced to trek in the wilderness to increase both her and her team's endurance, she has a few pale scars on her arms, and two that slant across her nose. She's rather muscular.
Pokemon: Torrent (male Feraligatr) level 56, Talon (male Pidgeot) level 49, Shard (female Umbreon) level 51, Flare (male Houndoom) level 48 and Rai (female Mareep) level 45.
Pokemon Personalities: Torrent - Torrent is very protective, often going out of his way to cancel out any percieved threat to the team or to Tala, often resulting in injuries for the unfortunate "threat".
Talon - Not inclined to follow blindly, Talon enjoys not following orders if they're idiotic, and has a rather obvious sense of humour; liking to drop sticks and rocks on anyone below him when flying.
Shard - Shard is quiet, solitary and grumpy. Usually sticking to following Tala and Torrent, she avoids confrontations.
Flare - Violent and ready to follow his trainer to the death, Flare is the follower, backing down to the more senior team members, such as Talon and Torrent, but sparking fights with Shard and Rai when he can.
Rai - The level-headed one, Rai is understanding and usually tries to calm the others down when the inevitable fight erupts.
Other: Most, if not all of her Pokemon are out of their balls when possible.

ACCEPTED!
