• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Serebii.net reports PMD 3 details

I've been wanting Eevee back since Leafeon became my favorite Pokémon, and Vulpix is one of my favorites too. :D

... actually I don't think I'll be using them very much (and if I do I don't like evolving my starters so it kinda defeats of the purpose of starting with Eevee) because quadruped starters tend to annoy me for the simple reason that your character doesn't realize they're a Pokémon... even when standing on four legs.

Riolu might be fun to try with, though <3

The more I play this game, the more I hate my boring human life and want to be sucked inside. I mean, REALLY...

...Am I strange?

Oh damn, did you guys notice the scan on serebii? Grovyle! Hooray! Think it takes place back in time or something? Or does Grovyle get revived? Eeee!! ^___^

Ah, those starters look AWESOME. I don't mind Chu, but it gets a bit...predictable. And they're easy to find anyway =/''' Wonder how these new ones will shake up the personality quiz...this is looking set to be awesome 8D

Phanpy and Vulpix seem like really odd starter choices to me for some reason :3 *crosses fingers and hopes Meowth will still be one...*

...Am I the only person who finds the title a little... uh, odd?

"HAY GUYS, LETS EXPLORE THE SKY"
"...nothing but clouds up here, Pikachu..."
"Ooh, here's a bright and sunny spot!"
"Is that a rainstorm on the horizon? OOH LETS GO INVESTIGATE IT maybe there's a dungeon inside!"

...Yeah uh so um much better starter choices, but they'd better stop beating a dead horse. I can think of one good way: have there be more than one town to go to. PLEASE. They can make the world seem so much bigger, like... and I liked the whole exodus thing from the first game, it was very... plotful. I mean, they had similar things in the second game, but they never seemed as mandatory as the first.

So in other words, yay it's a game, I'm getting it, whoop lets go explore the sky gaiz

Riolu and Vulpix. Yay! ^^

I really, REALLY hope that Serebii's screenshot of a Grovyle and Dusknoir surrounded by Sableye means that Grovyle (from PMD2) is coming back. Grovyle's awesome!

They should totally do something like Final Fantasy overworld maps, with you actually having to control your character to get to the destination on the overworld, instead of just getting there.

AND finding more towns would be awesome.

That would be awesome :)

And to get to certain dungeons you need to maybe have some random useless key item or something which you could of got from the previous mission or something.

Anyone else noticed something weird about the screenshot? Grovyle and Dusknoir seem to be fighting back-to-back against the Sableye group... but, assuming this is a third version/continuation of the previous games (due to "Explorers of" in the title), that means we must be getting some MAJOR plot changes.
In Time/Darkness, Dusknoir was the guy commanding the Sableyes and it was Grovyle+player characters that they were trying to get rid of... so, new villain? Dusknoir isn't really a bad guy in this one? Grovyle is one of the bad guys in this one? Or what?

^the Sableye turn against Dusknoir whilst in a fight with Grovyle and now they're having to team up and beat them?

i bet my idea wins it

HEY I NOTICED THAT TOO.

That's quite mysterious, yes it is.

EDIT: Serebii's official page for PMD3. The screenshots all look pretty awesome, and I believe that El Garbanzo's question is answered on the information page ;)

Oh, and Meowth and Munchlax were removed from the starter list. Sad sad.

Sorry Mike.

From the looks of things, it is the third instalment for PMD2, expanding on the stories of everyone. So maybe Grovyle and Dusknoir were once friends?

Anyways, I am going to be getting this :D ^^ And they might put Shaymin in, according to Serebii, which means that the only Pokemon NOT available is Arceus (of course, it would be kind of boring being a deity after awhile...)
