• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Spirits return...

Vanish focused, and fired his newly charged Shadow Ball at Maraxus. Afterwards, he ran forwards, just in case he still needed to strike the Marowak spirit down.

As the Shadow ball hit Maraxus, his eyes widened, and the Aura Sphere struck him while his defences were down. Maraxus began to twist and deform, his body becoming less and less recognizable every second. He was screaming in agony, rolling over, clutching his head and stomach. Xhan felt a pang of pity hit him. Maraxus continued rolling over, and slowly began to evaporate. Xhan gave a solem nod of satisfaction to Vanish, and turned to see if there was a way out of this place. While his attention was diverted, a small, black object floated over to Xhan silently, and latched itself onto Xhan's leg. Xhan winced slightly, and moved to scratch at his leg, and the black orb dissolved into his leg. The itching stopped, and Xhan did the one thing he could guess to do at the moment to get to the cave. He shouted at the top of his lungs, "WE'RE DONE DOWN HERE!!!! WE WANT TO COME OUT NOW!!!! ANYONE THERE?!!!" But Xhan wasn't sure if anyone but Vanish could hear him or not.

Vanish looked at Xhan, but was slightly horrified when the black orb disappeared.

"Don't tell me the exorcism didn't work!?" he said, although at a normal volume.

Vanish didn't blink. "Sorry if I wasn't noticing; I was paying attention to the teensy black thing..." He held up his and and slightly pinched the air.

"It was... uh..." Vanish stammered, and shrugged. "Never mind."

He looked in the direction he thought was up, and spoke calmly.

"Angelo, we're done. Might you be able to let us out now?"

(( my brother a.k.a. Black Yoshi is unable to post for the next week. This RP is offically on halt until he gets back. I have his permission to do so. No posts after this until he gets back..... Or I'll find YOU.))

Angelo was still sleeping.

((You can let yourselves out, As angelo is still sleeping. Not that harrd. Just will yourself out.))

((Okay.))

Vanish came out and stood in the cave. "Hope it worked. I wonder when I'll evolve..."

"I want to be Crobat," Firebird complained. "I don't want to be Golbat, though. It must feel awkward having my mouth hang open all the time."

Derish chuckled at Firebird's remark. He had noticed that with Pokemon. Some (including him) wouldn't evolve for small reasons.

"Well, it's awkward to be drooling all the time and be unable to control it!" Firebird said to Derish, as gently as possible, but still annoyed.

Derish smiled. "I know, I've had many chances to evolve but I couldn't stand having the horns. Your'e not alone in refusing to evolve for petty reasons." As Derish said this he realised what just escaped out of his mouth.

Xhan heard Firebird's question as he stood up. "Petty is small, and, no offense here, stupid, basically." Xhan stood silently for a moment, then found a way to make things a little easier on the group. An Aura Sphere appeared in his hand, illuminating everything in the cave in a ten foot radius. "Firebird, you can just stay back with us now. Derish.... Find someone to stay behind, and follow them by smell. We'll camp out at the end of the tunnel." He lifted the Aura Sphere higher, increasing their view by about a foot. "Let's go.... After he wakes up." Xhan knelt down next to Angelo, and shook him, although he wasn't sure if it would work or not. As he shook Angelo, a thought occured to him. "Also, Firebird, during the day, if you want to rest, you can hang on my backpack."

"What do I do?" asked Vanish. "Scout or something? Ghosts can't be seen in the dark, and do well in the dark."

Firebird, rather disappointed that she wasn't as important anymore, fell behind. Was it daytime? She couldn't see, but something told her dawn was approaching. With all this worry, anger and sadness, she flew a bit weaker.

Xhan pondered for a moment, trying to consider something that anyone in the team could do. Out of habit, he tapped his chin with a finger. "Hm..... Actually, that's a good idea. You and Firebird go ahead, and one of you report something to us every time you find something, such as a drop off, or, and I doubt this, hostile Pokemon. Derish, you try to see if you can smell anything unusual before they can see it. Or in Firebird's case, locate it. When Angelo wakes up, He and I will cover the rear. If anyone tries to sneak up on us, I'll either hear them, or Angelo will take care of them without even having to try. But I don't expect anyone will try to ambush us."
